"The staff was great. The property smaller and is dated however, the problem is the plumbing is in-need of service. Our bathtub/shower was extremely slow to drain (yuck). You can tell drainage issues have plagued the units as wall access panels were of different colors (we rented 2 rooms). When that issue is corrected, the property will do for a night or two prior to leaving out on either a charter or cruise ship."

"This historic hotel has a certain charm that matches its manager’s personality. They’re were trying to complete renovations, so not everything worked perfectly. However, we loved some of the original design elements and furnishings they incorporated. The place was clean, convenient to downtown and quiet. Because it was built that way many decades ago, a few of the rooms aren’t able to have their own shower, but those rooms are lower priced too. Now if they can just get better controls on the radiators, it will be great. The staff were all polite/friendly and very helpful."

"If you’re coming to Seward, do yourself a favor and stay here. The location is perfectly located and picturesque. Staff is great and the property is well maintained. Loved our stay here and highly recommend it!"

"The complimentary muffins were absolutely delicious! The room was stylish, clean, and very comfortable. The host was kind enough to inform us early that we could check in ahead of time, which was super helpful. They also contacted me right away when I accidentally left my glasses behind. The only minor downside was that the Wi-Fi was a bit slow, but overall it was a great stay."

"The property is beautiful and very clean!! The kitchen was well stocked for cooking if you eat in. We appreciated that the host provided coffee beans so we could make coffee in the morning. There is also a washer and dryer, and again, the host kindly provided detergent. There is a beautiful view of Resurrection Bay from the bedroom window. The bathroom was very clean and soap, shampoo and conditioner were provided! All the extra amenities help when traveling!! We would definitely stay here again should we visit Seward!!"
