The Horatio - Suites & Motel
10/10 Excellent
"Great place for a base for meetings"

Parklands Resort Mudgee
8/10 Good
"Room was clean the fridge was on but very warm tried to make it cooler but it didn’t do anything. We asked if it could get looked at the older lady behind the desk, didn’t want a bar of it. I wouldn’t normally care if it worked or not but I’m breastfeeding and we needed the fridge for the milk. The lady offered to put in the fridge there but it wouldn’t work out as it’s closed over night so I couldn’t pump and put in the fridge. She changed us rooms but it seemed like a hassle for her even though the place was quiet. Our baby had a small cry when we were jn reception she’s covering her ear saying I can’t hear. I’m sorry but she is a newborn her cry isn’t that loud. Even when we checked in said and spelled our name out 2-3 times then she would say a random name I was like no it’s then spelled it again as I was getting my id as it would just be easier, but then git me to write then she finally found it eventually, It’s like she just wasn’t wanting to listen. She seemed like she didn’t want to be there or be bothered. Was not great service any interactions we had with her. The other young lady on Tuesday morning was lovely though! Rooms are renovated look nice inside. Was easy having the car pack at the front door of the room! The disc golf was fun. They have disc you can borrow, we didn’t see this on the website otherwise we would have took our own. We didn’t worry about breakfast as $30 for buffet when normally just have toast etc we went to town. Showers above us were loud"

Kirsten Accommodation Mudgee

"Fantastic accomodation for our family’s short (weekend) stay in Mudgee. Great quiet location within walking distance to the town centre. Comfortable beds. Lock up garage on the smaller side, nothing bigger than a medium sized vehicle. Main bedroom has 2 small wardrobes. Other bedrooms have plenty of wardrobe and drawer storage. BYO clothes hangers. Check in and out was easy. Lovely busy town with a variety of shops, cafes and pubs."

The Cudgee at Mudgee

"Very easy check in, the place was neat and spotless, and easy to park at. Will be staying there again in future."

The Parkview Hotel Mudgee

"The room had a very pungent smell of some type of vanilla oil. It was real headache material for me. After hours of aircon & opening door to the veranda, it dissipated somewhat. The tapas restaurant adjoining the hotel was very good."

Soldiers Motel

"My room was a curious mix - mostly good, with just a little bad... not enough to spoil my stay. The bed was big, clean and reasonably comfy. There was everything you might need to feed yourself - fridge, microwave, cutlery, crockery, tea and coffee, washing-up liquid etc. It was nice to have a bath and shower and - as I was on the ground floor - my own parking spot. The small outdoor swimming pool was a bit cold but I dipped my toes in all the same! The pool had a couple of comfy loungers next to it. Each room had a little table and two chairs outside, which was a nice touch. The only downside to that is that large family groups would congregate and sit around outside someone's room, and chat until late - not great if, like me, you're the guy next door who isn't in the group and wants to get some sleep. The nights were on the cool side and the heating worked well. The worst thing for me was the bathroom, which had ceiling / wall mould in several places, cracked tiles and the enamel peeling off the bath. The bathroom was in serious need of renovations, while the rest of the room was fine. What I didn't know until I booked this stay is that Mudgee is ALWAYS busy with festivals / sporting events / weddings / misc other things, and rooms are (a) hard to find and (b) often expensive. Given that my room was only $140 per night in October, I can't bring myself to criticise it too much... it wasn't perfect but to be fair, it was really good value and I'd go back again."
