The drive to Yellowstone's west gate was about 10 minutes away and went through a small resort town that offered all the necessary amenities and good dining and shopping. A leather chair in the hotel's beautifully decorated lobby was where I snuggled in each evening to process photos from the day's adventures. The staff members were a delight to talk to and had intimate knowledge of the area. I loved the cinnamon rolls and my husband enjoyed the waffle maker at breakfast."
