"Cleanest hotel I have been to! Standard king room was a great size and everything was modern/up to date. Staff was super friendly at check in, passing by at night, and at checkout in the morning! Location is also great and convenient for doing some shopping :) Would definitely stay again!"

"I recommend this hotel if you are looking for a bargain place to stay in the Grand Rapids area. You have to have some patience, as it is an older Hotel and they are doing their best to upgrade it and maintain it. They may need a better maintenance staff, but they are very gracious and helpful. There will be things that don’t work quite right, but I can live with that. For me to have access to Grand Rapids with an a 10 or 12 minute drive it’s worth all of it. If you are not super fussy and you just need a place to yourself to crash for a while. It’s perfectly fine. I feel safe and a family run business."

"This resort is situated in a lovely spot overlooking a lake. It lacked some of the charm of some older construction, but it was impeccably clean, attractive and well maintained. While we were staying just as one night guests, it is well set up to act as a wedding or event venue with everything you could possibly need easily available. I had a swim in the wonderful pool and and a quick dip in the hot tub. I walked all around outside and enjoyed the views and the landscaping and the birds. My husband and I also sat on their very nice outdoor furniture and it was quite peaceful. Our room was spacious and very quiet. The bathroom was lovely - very long and luxurious feeling. We had a little deck we could walk out on to watch the lake. The room also had a refrigerator and a coffee maker and lots of made in Michigan treats. Breakfast was quite nice with quiche, sausage, a large bowl of fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, breads and muffins (both gluten free and regular), coffee, juices, etc. Our dinner the evening before was quite good too. My husband ordered a steak, and when it was not prepared to his liking (too well done), they immediately and quickly replaced it with a nice pink piece without a bit of fuss. I was able to order a gluten free salad filled with nuts and fruit and boursin and lovely lettuce. It was a very pleasant experience. You won't regret a stay here. Give it a try!"

"This is an excellent property. The room and bathroom were large and very clean. The staff were very pleasant and the hot breakfast of eggs and bacon was really delicious. The only negative was we needed 3 beds and the trundle bed is very uncomfortable as well as the scratchy extra blanket but the 2 queen beds are very nice. Would definitely stay there again."
