Check-in was a breeze - just walk on in. Our cabin was very clean and amenities were plentiful, including wine. There were just enough utensils and dishes for the max capacity, so plan ahead if you're going to entertain any additional daytime guests. Beds and pillows are never as good as those at home - the only reason I give 4 stars for comfort. The reclining chairs are a nice touch, but could use updating. Nitpicking... A nice walking trail and koi pond just outside the door.

We loved the lazy squirrel cabin due to the kitchen is on the front porch screened in so that was pretty awesome. Great hospitality very clean very comfortable and awesome place to stay. That’s for sure. Me and my sister had an amazing time. Will definitely go back.

Our cabin was "The Lazy Squirrel". It had a very comfortable bed, great linens and convenient electronics. The bathroom was nice and rustic, but chic at the same time. This is an interior room and would have been even nicer if a little bit cleaner. Spider webs on the poster bed and hairy dirty baseboards. The outdoor porch was great for enjoying the outdoors!

When I made the reservation, I thought I was getting a cabin. We arrived after dark, and the check-in instructions were not very clear, so we were walking from cabin to cabin trying to figure out where ours was. Finally after rereading the email and looking at Google maps again we determined that we needed to go further down the road to the big house. Even that wasn't marked clearly, so when we approached we were afraid we were about to walk into a stranger's house. In the end we found our room, and it was clean and moderately comfortable, although I did feel like I was staying in someone's spare room. I also expected some type of breakfast (the listing said "coffee and pastries") but nothing showed up in the kitchen in the morning, so I guess the 2 bags of chips and a Keurig in the bedroom are supposed to count. Again, the room was clean, and very quiet as there were no other guests in the main house, so I can't complain too much, but I wish things had been more clear from the beginning.
