"We had amazing time in Marine Hotel. Room was clean , bed comfortable staff very friendly always ready to help. Swimming pool was big bonus we really enjoyed. Definitely we will be back soon. Thank you again 😊"

"On arriving at the site it took us a little bit of time to local the pod. We weren’t aware that there wasn’t parking closer to the pods and had a disabled wheelchair user who found it difficult to get to. Also it took us many journeys back and forth in order to empty car of all our gear. After setting up we tried to cook ourselves a meal but got stopped from using our camping stove. I understand that it says no open fire pits or bbq’s but this was a normal camping stove under very close supervision. We then tried to settle down for the night but had our sleep disturbed by a large group arrive at 12.25 making a lot of noise trying to find their pods.. On the second night we were again disturbed by drunkenness and rowdy behaviour from others around us. Some of which were smoking from a shesha pipe. This isn’t what we would expect from a place like this. Luckily we weren’t staying onsite during the day time as we were only using it as a base to sleep and to travel from for kayak slalom races in Bala."

"Stayed for 2 nights B&B with my 5 year old granddaughter. Pros outweigh the cons. Pros Fantastic location. Just across the road from the pier and about a 5 minute walk to the shops and bars. Breakfast was good. There was a good choice of cereal as well as continental. Cooked breakfast was really good, served promptly and freshly cooked. Room amenities are excellent. Cans of water, which was much needed during the heatwave, plenty of teabags/milk & sugar and a coffee maker. Also the little extras like earplugs & an eye mask and a fan are a nice touch. Cons We stayed in a superior rear room with twin beds (room 106). Sadly I didnt regard it as ‘superior’. The room was quite small and the view was dismal. The carpet was quite grubby and unfortunately the lack of cleanliness in the bathroom let it down significantly. What looked like blood stains on the walls and thick grime under the sink plug were unacceptable for the price I paid for the room. The room got very hot despite having a fan. Heavy duvets on the beds during hot weather isn’t ideal, may be worth investing in lower tog duvets for the warmer months. On our last day they decided to carry out maintenance on the lift so I had to carry our suitcases down 2 flights of stairs, not great when you’re recovering from cancer surgery. Would I stay again? Yes, but I think I’d prefer a bigger room with a view which would obviously cost more so I’d expect better cleanliness."

"Rooms clean friendly staff nearby shops and restaurants. Looks a little run down in areas and could do with a bit of maintenance. Used facilities and bar in adjacent hotel that was internally linked as the diner and bar in our side was shut. Lovely cooked breakfast reasonably priced . Don’t worry about the weird noises the lift makes when reaching top floor bounces a bit on arrival. Bath takes a while to fill hot water fine but cold a little low on pressure. Overall a pleasant stay."

"Good value hotel in a great central seafront location. Room facilities were good, new bathroom with good shower, tea and coffee making facilities, toiletries, fluffy towels, hairdryer, nicely decorated. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good breakfast (continental plus choice of eggs). Public areas needed a facelift, no wifi in bedrooms, only public areas. Central website was poor, (not the fault of the hotel), received a confirmation, then another email saying that payment hadn’t gone through and booking would be cancelled, but when I turned up at the hotel it turned out that payment had gone through so all was well."
