Great little hotel

Very nice hotel in the middle of Ubud but in a small street so it was very quiet location. Easy walking distance to everything-ridge,palace,monkey forest, massages.

A great little hotel in a lovely quiet side street. Breakfast options are perfect. Staff are friendly and helpful. Beautiful pool area and garden. Love the veranda seating area outside the rooms. Plenty of places to dine, grab a snack or have a massage within walking distance.

We really enjoyed our time at Batu Empug Cottages, the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. We loved how close it was to lots of great restaurants and main streets. The pool was great as was the breakfast.

Wonderful

Cozy and comfortable stay.

The hotel was so beautiful, serene and cozy. It’s centrally located in Ubud and there are so many good food options that are within a walkable distance. Even though it’s located in a busy area, the street it’s on is quiet and this gives a relaxed feel to the hotel. The rooms were clean and the staff were very hospitable. We loved our stay at Batu Empug cottages. Highly recommended!!

The property is a real gem. Located on a quiet side street near the city center and everything that you may need in Ubud: restaurants (including vegan), bars, sites, shops, boutiques, spas, yoga studios (10min walk to Yoga Barn), etc. The hotel is quiet, very clean, well-maintained, with pool and beautiful garden. Staff is wonderful and always ready to help.

Betu Empug Cottages is a small hotel, located in a lovely quiet side street, with some small businesses and lots of family compounds nearby. We were able to walk easily into the heart of Ubud to shop or have dinner. Our room was comfortable and well set up and the bathroom was large. The air con and wifi worked well. Staff welcomed us and check in was smooth. They even surprised my husband with a birthday song and cake on our balcony, which was lovely. We enjoyed eating breakfast at the front cafe and the options were plentiful for us. We also dined in at the cafe on a couple of occasions and it was great. We would definitely stay again when visiting Ubud.

Batu Empug Cottages is a small hotel but neat and clean with fabulous and helpful staff. It is conveniently located in quiet laneway not far from the markets and dining places. Yoga studios are a 5 minute walk away. The pool is clean with towels provided. A small cafe on site makes wonderful local dishes and serves drinks and snacks pool side. I will most definitely stay here again.

We had a very pleasant stay here! The room was clean and quiet. The pool and gardens area was beautiful. The staff were so kind and accomodating and let us have our room early. The bathroon exhaust wasn't the strongest however, and we did see one cockroach in the bathroom. So that area could have been a bit cleaner!

Clean and spacious room. 10-15 min walking distance from ubud central. Breakfast was nice and could be delivered to room. The most amazing thing about the hotel was the staff. They were all super friendly and helpful. The only thing that can be improved is that the hair dryer is a bit weak.

The property located near the temple where they conduct daily ceremonies late evening and there is a lot of loud noise/ loud music after 10 pm and continue to midnight . The food has is very limited choices. The room had only one towel ( bath), you have to ask for face towel, and the room had only 3 cloth hangers. The room did not have any mirrors, except in the dark bathroom , where the lights were dimmed.
