Best vacation ever

The staff was amazing! The food that they had at the hotel tasted great and looked wonderful. So also got to dine in paradise, sitting in the shade looking out over the peaceful rice fields. Everything about our stay was so pleasant we would totally go here again.

I had an amazing experience. Love the overall look and presentation of the hotel. Staff super friendly. Went with a family of 5, we stayed for 4 days and we wish we stayed longer. We took advantage of the shuttle bus to Ubud. Went to the monkey forest, the temple, the market and a bunch of restaurants in between. Definitely a great experience. Better than Kuta in my experience. Oh! And bring bug spray for the mosquitos.

Nice resort, but internet connection is bad!

I have spent 5 days at the Bhanuswari resort...and: Good points - very good and smiling staff - quite and peaceful place - comfortable bed - hot water all the time - good body massage at a competitive rates Bad points - Room features not as advertised!!..for example: - INTERNET!!!unless your room is close to the reception you will struggle to get internet to work; I went to the reception twice to let them know and the first time the receptionist told me that "the cable might have some problem"(Wireless connection....), the second time(the day after) the same receptionist told me I had to go close to the reception to get internet (?!?!); Considering the fact that this resort is 6-7 km from Ubud, a good internet connection is necessary so you can plan, seek and book whatever thing you want to do, from tours to restaurants. - TV cable did not work!I simply could not watch anything...

Friendly Staff and Lovely Setting

We stayed in the Bhanuswari Resort & Spa for 4 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful...in particular, the reception staff were excellent and organised transfers or answered any queries we had with ease. The rooms were very clean, the pool was lovely and the food in the restaurant was very tasty. Overall we would highly recommend this hotel to other visitors.

Not Recommended to Anyone

Hotel is not well maintained, cupboard was smelly with a dead lizard. Hot water works sporadically, no toothbrush or toothpaste are provided either. Have to continually combat ants in the room, flies along corridor and stair landing. Staff service is generally warm but lacks consistency. Towel and tissues are not replaced on certain days. Photos shown on web do not tally with actual hotel conditions. Overall 2/5. Will not return.

The resort is nice but not clean

The resort is far away from town area, not convenient to search for food. The toilet is big but the toilet flush broken in my last day of stay. I don't like the toilet has big windows but no curtain, people can see through from outside, need to be careful when you take shower as there maybe people peeping you. The wardrobe inside is full of dust, it seems like the cleaner never clean it for quite some time.

Quiet with great view

Really nice staff. The hotel is outside of Ubud, so nice and quiet. Had a great view of rice fields. The restaurant was nice and had a good variety. Would definitely recommend.

Relaxing stay

Stayed for two nights. The room was quite basic compared to other hotels for the rate, but the environmental surroundings are really lovely and there wasn't much time spent in the rooms. I found the bathroom to be a bit dark and a hanging rod wasn't screwed into into the bathroom wall properly and fell off. The staff were very helpful and the shuttle service they offer is great. The pools were nice and it's a great escape from the busy city.

falling apart

The resort must have been really wonderful when it was new and when the staff was motivated. Now the bathroom smelled mouldy, the water feature did not run and was falling apart, the phone did not work, the staff did forget us several times at the dining or breakfast table, left as soon as possible.

Sehr ruhiges, schön gelegenes Resort

Die Umgebung ist einfach traumhaft! Das Resort liegt mitten in den Reisfeldern und man hat dort einfach seine Ruhe! Weit und breit keine andere Anlage in Sicht! Es liegt ca. 15 Minuten vom Zentrum Ubuds entfernt. Ein zu jeder Zeit kostenloser Shuttleservice wird vom Resort angeboten, was wirklich ein super Service ist! Außerdem können auch Roller geliehen werden. Das Personal war wirklich sehr nett und zuvorkommend! Die Massage war angenehm!

Hotel Driver is a nice person.

As my husband and I arrived Bali late at night, so we let a hotel driver to pick up at the airport. On the way to the hotel, it was very quiet and dark because it was around 10.00 pm. It took about 1 hr to arrive the hotel. Anyhow, the driver told that it was very safe in Bali.

Quiet getaway literally next to rice fields.

Firstly come here if you're looking for a quiet & relaxing getaway next to nature. It is not located near to the center of Ubud (20+ mins drive by hotel free shuttle service) so be prepared for this. The rooms are OK (7/10), breakfast is surprisingly fantastic and you get free transport to Ubud & back to the hotel. It is right next to rice fields and nearby villages within bicycle distance.

Had quite a good stay at this hotel. Very cheap (under 50 nzd or 45 usd) and the hotel provided all the basics. Really good breakfast.
