"Alaya is an amazing place to stay and very convenient. They really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I highly recommend staying here. We are vegan and they accommodated our requests. Very nice spa services as well. Get the balinese massage. From check in to check out the whole time we felt very cared for. Very convenient location to walk to places. "

"We had an amazing stay at the Ubud Village Hotel - the rooms were amazing, the location was right in the centre of town (but you wouldnt know it from your room or the pool - which was an oasis). The staff and food and cocktails were also amazing. Equiv to a 4 star hotel at home for a quarter of the price - will stay again. "

"Maya Ubud was breathtaking, it felt like paradise. I loved waking in the morning and going out onto the terrace and hear all the birds. the people were friendly; they couldn't do enough for me. " My friend and I spent ten glorious days and nights in Ubud at Puri Saraswati Dijiwa. We loved our suite and had wonderful sleeps on the comfy beds and quality linen. Every day we enjoyed our pool time and relaxing in the patio area. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful! We always felt well taken care of. Massage therapist, Henny, has magic hands! Puri Saraswati Dijiwa is located in the heart of Ubud and it was easy to get around to our activities, restaurants and the markets. The hotel restaurant served us a scrumptious breakfasts every morning and we had many of our suppers there, too. If you’re looking for an authentic Balinese experience and beautiful surroundings, this is your stay!"

"The villa I stayed in was a comfortable size with a porch and seating area overlooking the courtyard garden with its water features. Although it was an old building, the furnishings and interior were modern but not overly fussy, which I found to be just right for me. The bed was quite firm with a good selection of different weights of pillows so I could find the right combination for my comfort. I was pleasantly surprised that the TV had Netflix and the compound wi-fi fast enough for my needs. The staff were so friendly and asked each day if I wanted the room made up and fresh towels. The raindrop shower was always clean and the room was stocked with a couple of water bottles each day. The staff went to great lengths to tend to the gardens and properties and they were always ready with a wave and smile and always went out of their way to make me welcome. There is a really great cafe called .Temu that partially sits within the grounds that did great food and drinks and excellent coffee. I would like to add that my stay at Puri Anyar Heritage was one of the most pleasurable and relaxing experiences I had in a long time. It’s such a beautiful and relaxing environment steeped in history and charm. In the evenings you would never know that you were just a few hundred yards from the Royal Palace, the Art Market and the hustle and bustle of the main part of Ubud. I highly recommend a stay here. "The staff brings up the ratings for this hotel! They were very accommodating! The breakfast was good and tasty. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance. Room balcony was nice but construction going on across from the hotel didn’t make it as enjoyable. No fault of the hotel, hopefully construction will be done soon. Nice size room could use a full length mirror. Made use of the spa and had a really nice massage."
