The wonderful and famous equipped sandy beach (possibility of renting deck chairs and umbrellas) of Zambratija just 700 m easily reachable on foot, the food shop and bar are just 400 m.
The area is unique and well known for its well-equipped sandy beach, ideal for families with children, where it is possible to rent deck chairs and umbrellas. The Destino bar on the beach is perfect for spending evenings in full relaxation admiring the sea and the wonderful sunsets while enjoying the delicious drinks from the bar. There are also two gravel beaches in the area, as well as rocky and challenging beach areas. Near some of the small beaches, there are pine trees or other vegetation where it is possible to shelter from the sun during the hottest hours of the day. The coast of Zambratija is full of small bars by the sea. The small supermarket with the adjacent bar is great for having morning coffee. In the area, there are various sports possibilities, excellent restaurants offering fish menus, pizzerias, beach bars, promenade areas.
In the center of Umag to visit the museum, the aquarium, the cathedral, a walk along the famous Umag Dam is recommended, to explore the narrow and interesting alleys of the historic center of Umag, or visit the stalls and for the delight of children the playground on the seafront. To buy a larger quantity of food, it is advisable to walk a few kilometers to the largest and most convenient supermarkets such as Lidl, Spar, Kaufland or Plodine in Umag.
In the vicinity there are various leisure possibilities: tennis courts, 18-hole golf course, horse riding, water sports, night clubs, various boat or bus trips. Water sports enthusiasts will find diving, water skiing and surfing here. Renowned restaurants, simple restaurants, pizzerias, fast food restaurants, bars. Those who want to explore the area will discover caves, ruins, numerous churches, museums and an impressive marina. Excursions in the hinterland interesting the city of artists Grožnjan, Motovun typical medieval town known for the film festival, Livade the white truffle area, Hum the smallest city in the world, PN Plitvice, the seaside areas PN Brioni, Fish picnic boat, trip to Venice, Pula, Rovinj, Porec, Baredine cave. A visit to the Funtana theme park and the nearby Istralandia water park will make the hearts of people of all ages beat faster.
