"We stumbled upon the Cramer Family Mountain House while searching for places to stay on a road trip through PA. Boy are we glad we did! This well appointed, comfortable and adorable Bed & Breakfast was the perfect stop for us on our trip. From the ease of checking in to our stay in the beautiful King Room, we knew we were "home." The pavilion in the back yard with a firepit, comfy chairs, a TV and cute string lights was perfect for a glass of wine and the Flyers game. After dark, we found one of many fun games to play in the dining area then browsed the merch for sale (even went home with a few hand-made cards)! Highly recommend this B&B for a relaxing stay."

"There is really nothing unique about the place. It's upkeep is adequate but could use a lot of renovations. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Parking is nothing special but could use a facelift. The prices are always reasonable for what you get in appearance and I'm sure what they take in monetarily is barely enough to keep them afloat but come football weekend for Penn State football. They are completely booked which is interesting because they surely aren't convenient to State College. I will say that I'll continue to book with them during football season because the hotels in State College rip you by increasing the price at least 2.5 times the daily rate and they make you book at least 2 nights."

"This place was sufficient for an overnight stay if you're on a budget. It is a very old property so you have to understand that from the start. Except for a minor issue that was quickly rectified by the staff, the room was clean and tidy. It is close to the highway but I didn't really even notice the noise. It's right nearby retail shops and so.e food options. There's a breakfast place right across the street and a Dunkin nearby. The manager was polite and helpful with my concern. I would stay again if needed."
