Nice location right off the highway Good for a quick stop over fairly comfortable beds and good value for the cost. Knowing there’s no food or coffee is beneficial We would stay there again It’s right by the English River and it’s a nice view when you wake up

The hotel is unto its own on this stretch of highway however the area is very scenic - very relaxing - near the water and off the highway a bit to reduce noise. The rooms are good sized - bed comfortable - fridge and microwave in place. There is a Guest Area that has some basics to make breakfast (bread, cheese, peanut butter, jam), coffee and tea and this area is open 24 hours/day. Staff is onsite, friendly and helpful.

All though there is a nice small lake and a fire pit, the dock is not maintained and there are not such nice walking trails, as for the rooms they are most basically cleaned, taps and such are not scrubbed clean after previous people staying. It is a room with two beds to stay in on a long road trip and did its job.

A good place to stop if crossing Ontario. Pet friendly, we were moving across the country and handout dog and cat with us. Quiet location, really nothing around. There’s a kitchen where you can use plates cutlery and microwave. They have milk, bread. Peanut butter, jam, coffee and tea. If you’re staying here bring something to eat because there are no restaurants or convenience store for quite some distance. It was quiet and really suited our needs.

I absolutely loved this place! So beautiful and the separate kitchen was so welcoming in a diner setting. Love it!! Grounds are amazing. Such a gem, right off the highway.

It was lovely to be next to the river and to nature. The staff person was very kind and helpful. Prices were reasonable and the room was clean, though the motel was certainly bare bones. A separate kitchen at the end of the property housed coffee and basic breakfast fixings (white bread, jam, peanut butter, a toaster). The traffic was very loud, given the property's location along the highway and it was quite audible inside the room. There are no shopping amenities nearby, so be prepared with whatever you need for the evening and the next morning.

Lovely lakeview. No AC, but that was okay as it was cool. Bathroom was clean. Beds were somewhat comfy. Lots of mosquitoes, but with it being right next to a lake, that is to be expected.

I didn’t expect the room to have no air conditioning, especially considering the price. Since it was summertime, the room became quite warm, and I found it difficult to sleep comfortably. I understand that the location may affect the pricing, but overall, I still found the accommodation overpriced for what was provided, particularly without air conditioning. On a positive note, the staff member who assisted me was very accommodating and helpful. I appreciate their excellent service, but I hope the hotel considers improving the room amenities or adjusting the pricing accordingly.
