"First of all, location, view and hotel was lovely. Breakfast was lovely also so would recommend. Just for info though where we were disappointed, No air-con in bedrooms and in the reception area where we spent quite a bit of time, they would t put the air-con (assuming they have there) making it very uncomfortable. Pricing in that area was high also. The other bigger issue is that we paid a very high nightly price where we though we could use the space facilities but were told that if we didn’t book a spa, we would have to pay £10 per hour per person to use the swimming pool which defeats the object of going to a Spa hotel."

"Good value, but it's true that you "get what you pay for". The room was extremely hot so we weren't able to get sleep, and the noises from the motorway were quite loud- Although that can't really be helped. The staff member we spoke to at check-in was very helpful. Beds were made and clean (although not very comfortable, but that could be a preference thing). One duvet was stained, but that was only noticeable when I stripped the bed at the end of the stay to help housekeeping. Overall, I think it's not a bad hotel for the price, but would advise to take your own fans in the summer."

"When I arrived, there was no one at reception and I had to wait quite some time before a staff member returned to check me in. I was also disappointed to find that the health club had already closed upon my arrival at 8:15pm, despite the website stating it closes at 9pm. Later that evening, at around 10:30pm, the same staff member entered my room without knocking while I was in the bathroom. When I asked what they wanted, they asked for my name and then stated that the room was supposed to be empty. I explained that there had clearly been a mistake, as they had personally checked me in earlier. They then left without apologising. I found the situation quite strange and raised it with the staff member on duty the following morning, but they appeared completely uninterested. Room and whole hotel in general is pretty dated and not particularly clean. Wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it unfortunately!"
