"The building is a little older and in need of some upgrades. Our shower was an old bathtub and awkward to stand in. The spa and rooftop pool, view and bar are all fantastic. The breakfasts are amazing. Staff was incredibly helpful. Overall we loved our time in Karlstad!"

"Very pleasant stay. Staff were excellent. Rooms very clean, tidy, and spacious. Having dinner available (Wed was fish & ships) was nice and food was actually pretty good! Great location. We would definitely return here if in the area."

"Our room was very clean and comfortable. The location next to the river was nice since we had a view out our window. Breakfast was amazing, literally, it was huge and had everything from fresh baked bread to delicious crepes and all the meet cheese and fresh fruit you could want. The location being attached to the ice hockey arena was interesting. There is no staff that regularly attends the entrance and no lobby at all."
