This is a great hotel ! Very peaceful and clean. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful ( particularly Jésus) . Good location. There are some renovations going on in the courtyard but they didn’t disturb us at all. The room layout is good.

Everything was very comfortable. AC was fantastic during unseasonably hot weather. Only complaint was that doors to rooms closed very loudly so whenever someone left their room it made a lot of noise. Great location and we walked wherever we needed to. Hotel restaurant provided a nice dinner when we arrived the first night.

Very Nice Hotel

Very nice hotel in nice walkable area close To many attractions. Don't know about breakfast as we didn't try it. Later if it is Summer you might want to spend a few days on the beach at a different location

Fantastic hotel

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they were absolutely wonderful. We stayed in the junior suite and it was a big space with great decor. The bath was a delight to use. The location was perfect as they had many restaurants and bars and not too far from the main attractions. The hotel restaurant food was excellent too. We would definitely like to stay again.

This hotel is a total home run. We were leaving the hustle and bustle of Barcelona. On our way to Marbella. I needed an overnight stay. Who would've thought we would fall deeply in love with Valencia. This hotel has it all. It's adjacent to the park… It has a serviceable restaurant and a pleasant bar. The rooms are magnificent with a wonderful rainforest style shower and etc. The hotel staff are beyond pleasant… And we're willing to put up with my halting Spanish practicing since everyone speaks perfect English. They greeted us with a welcome drink in the courtyard and there's so many good restaurants just around the corner. If you want a reservation for diva do it in advance, but Mamma pasta was also spectacular and not terribly expensive. Walk just a little further when you're in the shopping district on Colon Street. Of the coastal cities we have visited so far in Spain this was by far the best night of our trip.

Very comfortable hotel in perfect location, central and quiet. Beautiful building with lovely patio and rooms. Staff is particularly friendly and service oriented. I had dinner in the restaurant repeatedly because food and service is exceptional. The Hospes Palau de la Mar was an excellent choice and I will certainly come back if I am in Valencia again.

The hotel was conveniently located 5 minutes walk from a metro station. Great looking building, staff all friendly and helpful. Breakfast fantastic with lots of hot and cold options and even a cook to order menu. An unexpected bonus was a free hour per day in the spa area to use the sauna and steam room.

At the moment the property itself is not a five star hotel. We were disappointed. It's old fashioned and dated.The manager is very friendly but the staff in the restaurant is very young and also friendly but do not act as it should be in a five star hotel. The entrance to the wellnes is awful. Also in the wellnes we were disappointed.
