Farm Getaway with hot tub and private indoor heated pool

Relax and experience farm life on a working 34 acre horse farm just 5 miles from Spokane's south hill. Five bedroom, four bath house with huge deck for entertaining and beautifully landscaped lawn. Take a hike in the woods and visit the horses along the way. The Latah Creek golf course is just 5 minutes away for those looking for a golf outing.

After a day of adventures, you will return to a peaceful, spacious home where you can enjoy the pool table, relax on the deck next to the gas firepit, or curl up with a book in the living room which also features a 65 in smart TV.

Gather on the large outdoor deck to enjoy the amazing weather, outdoor dining, a gas fire pit, and a huge backyard that is perfect for playing fetch with your furry family member. Later on enjoy the evening in the hot tub or take a dip in the indoor pool.

If you want to bring a horse along we offer pasture right in front of the house along with many options for trailering to amazing horse rides in the nearby area.

This is a perfect venue for group gatherings,of less than 40 people, such as family reunions, memorial gatherings, graduations and weddings. However there will be an additional charge for the event to cover wear and tear on the house and disposal of garbage generated from said event. Charge will depend on the size and type of the event. To get a quote you will need to tell us a little bit about your plans.

During the winter season, October to April there will be a $100 pool heating charge.

Nice, quiet & lots of ambiance

Nice big house with room to spread out, pretty decent pool with slide, lots of outdoor seating & a great kitchen area. It is older but in good condition. Completely happy with our stay.

Excellent Stay!

Our family booked this property for my daughter's WSU graduation. It was perfect for our family. We had plenty of space and everything we needed for a family BBQ was available. The hosts were very responsive, home was clean, and in a lovely location. Would definitely book again for a large family gathering!

Tennis tournanent weekend

Our men’s tennis team stayed up here for the weekend and everything was just so nice. An indoor pool which was heated and a great hot tub! Hosts let us check in early which was great as we had an early match at 1 PM. Everybody got great rest and was very happy with the house.

Wonderful!

We had an Amazing time at this beautiful house! The kids went swimming nearly everyday and we pet the horses regularly. The house is large and accommodated our 2 sets of grandparents an uncle and our family of 5 very nicely! The kitchen is large and easy to share when cooking meals! My daughter loved the farm cats that would come by in the evenings. And one day a cow even came for a visit and the kids were very excited about that! We very much enjoyed our stay and if we are ever in the area again we would happily rent this home!

Best VRBO home I have ever stayed in.

The pictures online do not do this house justice. It was so beautiful and clean. My son graduated high school so we had a graduation party here. The indoor swimming pool was a blast for the kids, my teens loved playing pool, the older people loved the patio to sit and visit and the kitchen with a double oven was perfect to feed everyone. My relatives who came in from out of town had somewhere to stay. The owners thought of everything you might need. They were kind, communicated well. We are trying to make excuses on why we need to stay there again. I had a few people ask me to send them the information to this house because they were so impressed.

Great Location, Amazing Property, Fun Time

This amazing location and wonderful property is quiet and secluded, yet less than 10 minutes to Spokane's South Hill (shopping, grocery store, restaurants, bars, etc). The pictures online do not do this home justice, much lighter, brighter and modern than the photos can show. Also, the pool as great and the back deck is huge. The owners do come to the property (working horse farm) and will interact with you, so be aware of that. Also, needed to communicate with owners more than other rentals we've had to get entry information. Overall great experience for our family and friends for my wife's birthday. I would highly recommend this home if you are looking to get away from it all and have space to relax and have fun.

Home in the Palouse

Gorgeous area, pastures in front and park-like landscaping in back yard. The house itself is older and needs updating. We opened a closet and the door came off. A lamp shade was so old that when we turned in the light, it fell off. Mice ate through our trailmix bag, found mice remnants in the kitchen. The pool table had no chalk. The swimming pool had no indications of depth. There were too few towels. For a home with 5bedrooms and listed for 10 people, there were only 8 place setting of dishes. Only 2 glass mixing bowls. LOTS of silverware, thank goodness. I didn't know there was a sunken living room. If I missed reading this, my bad, but I don't remember. There was a fall, with black eye that occured. I would not recommend this for olders. Having rented MANY homes, I was disappointed. It got us through graduation weekend, so did the job. Its in an absolutely gorgeous setting. Getting to see the horses was lovely. The house itself could be so much more.

Beautiful location!

Overall, we had an incredible stay at this home. The property and neighborhood are breathtakingly beautiful! It’s out of town, but only about 10 minutes from Safeway. We were very pleased with the location. There were 11 of us all together (two families) and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kids LOVED playing in the pool! The house had everything we needed (although we did struggle to find bath towels for everyone) and we enjoyed hanging out on the patio. The only complaints we have were nothing too major. We didn’t use the hot tub because it was slimy but the owner did tell us they did some work on it while we were there. We didn’t try it again after that, so that may have been fixed. There were a few areas of the house that were not exceptionally clean. The biggest issue for us was the plumbing. One of the showers did not work at all and it is almost impossible to have two things going at the same time- we couldn’t shower while the dishwasher, washing machine, or another shower were going because there wasn’t enough water pressure. This was a little challenging to work around with a group our size, but we were able to make it work. Again, overall it was a great experience. The issues weren’t anything that we weren’t able to work around and the owners were very kind. We enjoyed our vacation and I would recommend this home if you’re looking for a place in the Spokane area, especially if you’re like us and prefer to not be right in the middle of town.

Overall we had a decent stay. It sufficed for what we needed it for. It is a large property with a lot of room. Everyone had fun in the pool. The hot tub popped the breaker a few times. The BBQ didn't want to start at first and definitely needs to be cleaned... so does the oven. We found some rodent poop in some drawers in the kitchen. There is a HUGE ... HUGE issue with flies... And you can see there are fly guts smooshed all over from previous guests. The walls are pretty filthy in all areas of the house, bugs in picture frames, and there seemed to be some possible mold growing down on the walls above the slider for the pool. There is a cleaning fee, but you have to pull all of the towels and linens and start them for them... Same with dishes. They also say pet friendly, but don't tell you there is a pet fee until the three days before the booking in their instructions. Could be way better/cleaner for the amount you pay to rent.

We had our 25 year vow renewal ceremony there. There was plenty of space for around 100 guests. It provided everything we needed and was perfect for our party. We would stay here again just because.

Relaxing getaway

My husband and I and our 3 teenage daughters stayed here for 3 nights. We were looking for something relaxing for the parents with some fun for the kids. This property couldnt have been more perfect! Everyone had their own space including bathrooms ( major plus with teenage girls). Yet we were able to enjoy lots of quality family time in the pool and playing pool. My huaband and I are both cooks for a living and this kitchen was perfect to cook good family meals. The girls loved feeding the horses grass! All in all, we had a wonderful time and would stay again if the host would have us.

Perfect Stay!

Ten of us stayed comfortably in this beautiful home! This house could not be more perfect for two families. Every bathroom has shower facilities which was so helpful and there was an entire bathroom we didn't even use! So much space! The kitchen and laundry room were fully outfitted with dishes, cookware, Tide pods, etc and there was so much extra bedding and linens in every closet (we didn't need them but they were there if we did). The indoor pool was amazing for our kids, and the many provided towels and pool toys were so nice. The property is gorgeous and well maintained and the kids had a blast running around. The moms and dads enjoyed late nights on the front porch and huge back deck. Beautiful sunsets and clear skies for stargazing at night. We all enjoyed visiting with the horses and hearing their neighs. Two kitties came to see us a couple times too. Excellent, easy and quick drive into the city of Spokane- only about 20 minutes or so. We will definitely stay here again next summer!

The home had a strong musty/moldy odor when we first arrived, along with a strong chemical smell. There were rodent droppings in 2 of the closets, the horseshoe pits they said we could use were overgrown with grass and no horseshoes. The house is next to an event center that was having a graduation party, with multiple vehicles coming and going all day Saturday while we were trying to enjoy the outdoors. Loud vehicles and dust ruined our barbecue. And the barbeque required a deep cleaning before we could even use, drip pan was overflowing with piles of grease. Window sills were coated in dead bugs that we had to vacuum. The strong chemical smell was the rodent repellent scattered all over the house. The pool was not full and water line was under filter system. Water feature that they said we could use, was dirty, unkempt and did not work. Hot water pot was broke and corroded. Vacuum was not emptied and made a terrible smell when turned on. The 2 bedrooms downstairs had a strong feces odor that was disgusting. I request a full refund for the inconveniences and promises unkept. We were only told there would be traffic from horse boarding, no event center on property mentioned. That was enough to ruin the whole thing. I also had to purchase air fresheners to replace the empty ones just to handle the awful smells.
