The Peace Lodge is a tranquil escape. There are not very many rooms, so the grounds are quiet. You get the opportunity to walk through the animal sanctuary on the grounds. The resort dog Rusty was very friendly and a welcome sight. The menus were on the expensive side and some more affordable options would be welcome, but the quality of the food was excellent.

This place is just beautiful. It’s like everything Costa Rica has to offer in one place. The staff and hotel manager are top notch. Highly recommend you bring your hiking shoes and enjoy the entire property. You will not be disappointed. This is a must see hotel.

The Peace Lodge is a beautiful resort with the unique experience of having the wildlife within reach. Tours are offered through the resort to ensure safety and peace of mind when you leave the resort. The rooms are gorgeous and the La Paz Waterfall Gardens are easily accessible from the resort.
