Venice island freestanding newly remodeled private duplex old Florida yet modern beach home 1100 sf with great location-our guests tell us so!!! So close to the beach and beautiful gulf waters —-under 1 minute by car or a 5 minute walk 2 blocks up the street! Or walk to Sharkey’s for dinner drinks and live music and the fishing pier. Quiet & very private with own lanai patio and yard! Legacy trail for walking or biking is 1 block away. Wow! So many repeat bookings. The home is so clean and beautifully decorated with amenities you will feel like you are in your favorite hotel. Internet is super fast 1000gb!

Complete renovation includes kitchen with side by side refrigerator, granite island, farm sink , dishwasher and fully equipped kitchen with Keurig and all kitchen necessities. New flooring, updated bathrooms etc. Washer and dryer included in unit.
Bedroom #1 has queen pillowtop bed, walk-in closet, and remodeled master bathroom.
Bedroom #2 has 2 memory foam twin beds, full dresser, large closet and second bath nearby.

The island community has everything you need without leaving the island. Don’t want to drive or didn’t bring a car-there are bikes and golf carts for rent.

Or walk everywhere !! Within blocks there are parks, beaches, fishing pier, boating, public golf courses, restaurants & bars pharmacy, food shopping(Publix), municipal post office, hospital, blocks of shops close by our place. Historic downtown Venice a stones throw away!!
Best of all ---close location and super nice stand alone, no steps-one story duplex home not in a complex-lots of privacy yet close to it all-tucked away in a very quiet location with no noise!

Everything is cleaned and disinfected prior to each stay for your safety. Cleanliness is always noted by our guests!

Very relaxing place

Two week stay in south venice

Great property in a great location. Well furnished and quite comfortable. Would stay there again. Only a couple of minor things to point out. The mattress in the primary bedroom may need replacing in the near future and the vinyl flooring in the kitchen is beginning to pop up. Easy fixes for an ideal rental. We enjoyed our stay there!

Great spot for us

Nice quiet area. Close to beaches and nature park. Because of Hurricane Helene and renovations, Sharkeys was closed. Location great for visiting nearby friends as well as downtown Venice. Really enjoyed the nearby Airport Cafe, Coffee Truck, and Mercatos Vintage store.

Wonderful

We had a great time and found lots of shark teeth. The house is beautifully furnished and one can get to the beach in 5 minutes. We were also very grateful that we had a carport.

We enjoyed our stay! The location was excellent! The condo had everything we needed and more! The owner was friendly, helpful and accommodating! We felt like we were in our own home and had the added bonus of bringing our dog along! Perfect!

Fantastic stay and close to the beach. Clean, spacious and best place we have ever rented for a fair price. Cheaper than staying in a hotel. Quiet and enjoys the screened in outside room. Had bikes and ride one of them. This is a Bonus !!!

Perfect Home

The home was clean, well equipped and plenty big enough for 2 people. The kitchen had everything one would need to cook. The washer and dryer were very helpful, and we only needed 1 suitcase bc we washed what we brought. The owner has stocked the house with all the toys needed for the beach including a shark tooth rake, chairs, umbrellas, and a boogie board. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great Location!

We couldn't have been happier with this cute beach house. The location was near enough to the beaches and downtown to ride bikes. The house is tastefully decorated and has everything you would ever need. We enjoyed taking our two dogs to the nearby dog beach. My husband enjoyed scuba diving for sharks' teeth while I shopped to my heart's content at all of the quaint shops that Downtown Venice has to offer. Sharky's on the Pier is nearby for a nice beachside meal or fishing from the pier. Kevin, the owner, provides all of the fishing gear you will need at the house. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone coming to Venice. Thanks, Kevin & Gayle, for everything. The house was perfect!

Super Stay in Venice, Fl (Review by obxkayaker)

This centrally located duplex home in Venice is a wonderful choice for vacation travel. The house is very nicely furnished with plenty of seating in the living room and very comfy beds in the two bedrooms. It is also well equipped with a very functional kitchen and a very comfortable lanai out back. The carport parking is convenient for bringing groceries and other items into the house. Our two small dogs were completely at home in a matter of hours. The area is ideal for biking with three bikes available in the utility room. An easy bike ride down Airport Road will take you to the concrete bike path that parallels the scenic Venice waterway for a couple of miles and separates the "island" from the remainder of Venice. There are some excellent waterfront restaurants in the area - Sharky's and Pop's Sunset Grill (Nokomis) are first rate. If you want to see some authentic backwoods Florida wilderness, check out the Myakka River boat tour to see wildlife and the incredibly scenic river. Kevin, the owner, is completely responsive to any concerns you might have and very cordial to deal with. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would most definitely consider a much longer stay at this same property at some future date. All in all - highly recommended !!

A great Venice getaway

It was a great place in an excellent neighborhood close to the beach. Kitchen was very well stocked with pans and small appliances. Owner provided a portable crib and highchair for our young grandson. Beach chairs and shark tooth finding stuff made were a bonus! Would stay again!

We took two of the bikes to the beach so that we didn't need to fight with traffic and parking, which was very convenient. The back porch and hose were great for rinsing out the dive gear and shells, and letting them dry. The car port is also fantastic for loading and unloading in the rain, and the screened in back porch is great for enjoying the beautiful weather without the bugs. The grill you share with the neighbor worked well as well. Would definitely recommend. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the sliding door, which doesn't slide smoothly.
