I always thought that this place was not bearable but having nowhere to stay after graduation it turned out to be an amazing and relaxable night slept like a baby very clean and comfortable, The hostess was very respectful and helpful as well Even offer to help me go up the stairs due to my disability

Amazing customer service with their entire hotel getting remodeled with brand new equipment and modern furniture. Their GM Dylan will personally go out of his way to make sure every single guest is taken care of and more than satisfied

This property is one of many along Main St. Ventura. It is close to all "downtown" destinations. The building is older which I find adds to its charm. Just don't expect Hilton level of fit-and-finish. There is some weathered paint and the furnishings are also a bit older. That said, everything was workable and spotlessly clean. The real gem at Bayshore has to be the staff. The construction workers were polite and friendly, these buildings are always under some amount of "work". Luis at the front desk, a new manager or manager in training was simply awesome. Friendly, easy to talk to, super attentive and eager to make sure our stay was perfect. When I come back there is no place I'd rather stay, simple as that. For anyone concerned with safety "downtown", the parking lot was well lit and had plenty of cameras to make sure everything was chill. I and my family walked the streets every single night and never felt uneasy, just always bring a sweater or jacket, when that warm sun goes down so does the temp ;)

Front desk host was very helpful when the room I was put in needed work. Caring about the customer is very important and he definitely demonstrated that. Bed was comfortable and there wasn’t any smell of smoke in the rooms.

For the price I paid, I can't complain too much. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and I appreciated having an upstairs room. There were a few downsides, though. It appeared that some people associated with the property were living in vehicles on-site, which made the atmosphere feel a bit unusual. Maintenance was also working on a room until around 6:00 p.m., and the construction noise was noticeable. Another thing to keep in mind is that one side of the parking lot is next to a designated smoking area. On several occasions, I found people smoking right next to my car, which wasn't ideal. If these issues don't bother you, the motel may still be a good value for the price.

I slept better here than I do at home. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe. Everything was exceptionally clean, especially being that it is an older building. There is cosmetic wear and tear on the walls and doors, but nothing that impacted my stay. All the appliances worked and the bed was perfectly soft and comfortable. The staff was the best part. So friendly and accommodating. For the price, this was the best value around and I can't wait to come back.
