We stayed in a very old cottage.
The hot water would run hot for 5 minutes and then go cold with no reason, there was no way of heating yourself up besides 2 fireplaces but only one of them actually worked.
I know, its california and we shouldn't be in need of heating up, but we had to walk through the parking lot in the middle of a very cold and rainy day in February, at least I was expecting to have a warm and cozy place, I was freezing!, there were also spiders and mosquitoes in the room.
One of the insect screen from the dinning room side was bended outwards wide open wich makes it really clear where the insects came from.
The gazebo area has been clearly not taken care of for quite a long time, plants in general looked outgrown and withering.
Front desk was very kind and explained everything perfectly from what path to follow to get to our room to how to get to the beach if needed.
Breakfast was delicious and warm.
Things aside, the place is really peaceful and relaxing, there were birds chirping around all day and owls at night, I would go again if the mentioned problems got fixed.
