From MC…It is a great downtown location where all the tourist shops and restaurants are, walking distance to everywhere, the Parliament, the attractions, wharf and Chinatown. Very convenient and feels safe. The hotel room is clean, quiet and relaxing. Front desk staff and housekeeping are friendly and very helpful. Would consider staying again.

Clean Rooms, Friendly and Helpful Staff. Rooms are air conditioned, but the residence is just older and a bit rough on the edges. Parking is available underground across the street for a small fee. I would certainly stay again.

The hotel was well located to everything in the city. We walked to everywhere, expect Butchart Gardens. The room , itself was clean and comfortable. Our room was located above the Draughthouse bar, so we did hear music until 10:30 every night.

Good location, lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The property is a bit run down. Not as clean as we would have liked. Dirty windows through which we did have a beautiful view from the penthouse. A very smelly bathroom. Laminate floors which is always a plus for me!

The hotel and my room were perfectly clean. The sheets and bedding were clean and comfortable. The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. I don't mind paying $20 a night for parking but the website wasn't clear on that point - it made it seem that the $20 charge would only be levied on "oversize" vehicles which mine wasn't. Also, it would be nice if there was a bathroom sink. The bar sink in the room wasn't great when it came to shaving,
