This hotel is absolutely fantastic! A real gem in Vienna. The location is great - close to transport and the neighbourhood of Spittelberg - but also walkable to the old town and Ringstrasse. The hotel itself is really well designed, the staff are great and the room was warm and cosy for our winter trip. Breakfast is fantastic - so much variety and all really nice food. We had a blast.

Great hotel

Excellent hotel, very good facilities. Friendly staff, great breakfast. Ideal location for main tourist areas. Nicely quirky! Shame the bar was closed Sunday and Monday evenings. This was our second visit and we would stay again.

The Hotel Gilbert is a gem in the heart of Vienna. The location is perfect for many famous tourist sites, but it is tucked down a quiet side street so it isn’t noisy at all. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is delightful. Comfortable rooms with plenty of amenities, helpful, and friendly staff and great food combine to make a wonderful stay. All four in our party were more than satisfied with our stay.

The atmosphere was lovely and the location is excellent. The server staff didn’t seem to communicate well. I got forgetting about twice once during a time that was busy and once when it was not. I refrained from dining at the hotels restaurant because of this. The room was super clean but the pillows are unacceptable.
