This hotel needs some updating. The location is convenient, nearby attractions and easy access to public transportation. However the hotel is old. The drains in our room are all plugged and takes time for water to go down. The tub is yellowing. The coffee machine in our room is dirty. The hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. The day we got here there was a lot of check ins. The staff tried to speed up the process and went around apologizing and making friendly conversations with those who were waiting. When we asked directions or recommendations, they were very helpful and provided useful information.

The property is extremely busy and there are lesser staff to attend to during check in times at the Reception. Their either being busy or overworked even shows in their getting flustered by simple guest queries ! The room and bed conditions were nothing to write about a Marriot property ! Maybe we had an average stay this time. The checkout, not surprisingly was smooth though :) even though it took us 30 minutes to check out.

The Vienna Marriott hotel is top notch. The staff are polite and helpful. The breakfasts are delicious and the service provided by the serving staff is excellent. The rooms were cleaned when asked. The garden cafe is nice place to lounge and enjoy a drink or cappuccino.
