"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Villa was clean and centrally located for day trips to Lucca, Florence and the coast. Out host, Elisa, was great and very responsive to questions and made several recommendations for local restaurants and other businesses. Elisa also helped us arrange a wonderful homemade dinner at the Villa cooked by a local couple. It was excellent and I would highly recommend this to future visitors. "Just Wow! This house was more than we could have hoped for and more. We were first time travelers to Italy, a family of 6 with kids that ranged from 5 years to 13. It was the perfect set-up for our family. Monica and Dario were amazing and answered any and all questions we had. They also helped organize someone to come into the home to cook us dinner. Isa was amazing and it was a highlight of our entire trip! We still have dreams of the view and sitting outside eating dinner every night. The location was perfect, up far enough to have the view, but not too far that the drive was challenging. It was the perfect home base for us. We did rent a car, which I am glad we did because we had the flexibility to explore the area. This house and the stay there will always have a special place in our hearts and hope to be back soon!"

"This was a beautiful and peaceful 6 night respite in the middle of our 18 day trip to Italy. An old world feel with plenty of room for the 6 of us to spread out. The location provided easy access for day trips to Cinque Terre and Pisa and, of course, beautiful Lucca. We thoroughly enjoyed our mountain village tour with Giovanni. Monica's meals were some of the very best food that we had on our trip. So happy with our stay. (bring euros to pay for extras - meals/Giovanni tour. Also bring bath products and ground coffee. Internet is weak, they were attempting to fix it while we were there)"

"Tolle Ferienwohnung in einem noch tollerem Anwesen.Die Ferienwohnung ist perfekt für zwei. Sie hat eine super ausgestatteter Küche und eine großer Dusche. Es ist alles sehr durchdacht (z.B. hat es überall Steckdosen). Alle Fenster und Türen haben Mückengitter. Dazu gibt es einen schönen Pool und einen prima Grill. Die Waschmaschine ist natürlich sehr nützlich.Kurz um, die 2 Wochen waren viel zu schnell rum, wir kommen wieder - hier gibt es noch so viel zu sehen …Schade, dass wir die Gastgeber nicht kennenlernen konnten."

"We hosted our entire family and some close friends over a two-week stay in September, and it was an unforgettable joy. Every guest gasped with pleasure upon arrival, and these were almost all seasoned travelers. The villa has enough space to give everyone privacy and also to accommodate gatherings. We had karaoke in the lemon house, yoga on the lawn, wonderful dinners in the dining room, and late-night conversations in the sitting rooms. Looking out of the kitchen windows while preparing dinner was a joy, and my kids all miss that view! Daniela and Paulo were extremely responsive and helpful, and every service we retained e-bikes, masseuses, chefs was terrific, thanks to them. We made memories at Villa Valgiano that will last a lifetime. And we left a little bit of our hearts in Tuscany. A selection of mixing bowls, from small to mid-size, and some mixing spoons, would be great. And maybe a blender? We are serious cooks and missed those tools."
