"They refused to acknowledge i had already paid for the hotel, then charged me mich more than the rate advertised. The water only works part of the time. All rooms comnect straight to the lobby, so there is very little privacy. The building looks nothing like the pics and is bombed out. The entrance is a dark unmarked stairwell on the side of the building. The door is surrounded by debris and beggars. One employee even accused me of taking money from them, stating her count was off last night and she gave me too much. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at and I will be fighting hard for a full refund as soon as I return home. After a couple days of their shenanigans, I packed my bag and walked down the street. I found a superior hotel for a fraction of the price within a block or two."

"DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL — SCAM ALERT I made a confirmed, non-refundable booking for my wife through Hotels.com and paid in full online. When she arrived at Bi Hotel Sarl in Dakar, they refused to let her check in and told her they don’t accept online payments — only cash. This is completely dishonest. Why list your hotel on a major platform if you won’t honor online bookings? They waited until she got there to demand cash, even though the booking was already paid. No refund offered. No help. Just cold treatment and excuses. This is a scam tactic. Avoid this hotel at all costs. They take your money online, then deny you service on arrival. Une fois arrivée à Bi Hotel Sarl à Dakar, on lui a refusé l’entrée sous prétexte qu’ils n’acceptent pas les paiements en ligne — uniquement en espèces. C’est totalement malhonnête. Pourquoi être présent sur une plateforme comme Hotels.com si vous refusez les réservations déjà payées ? Ils ont attendu qu’elle arrive pour exiger un paiement en espèces, alors que tout avait été payé d’avance. Aucun remboursement. Aucun soutien. Juste du mépris et des excuses. C’est une arnaque. Fuyez cet hôtel. Ils encaissent votre argent en ligne, puis refusent de vous accueillir. Hotels.com devrait les retirer immédiatement de leur plateforme. "

"The hotel addresss at Hotels.com is not the same as the actual hotel address. The hotel business card address is not the same as the the hotel address showing in Yango app. It is a disaster finding the address. Yango app always took me to another address. The owner has to fix this immediately. Not good to get lost everywhere and keep calling the hotel to find the address especially if we don’t have connection. The staff is the best in this hotel. They’re very nice but it’s not their fault the address are all different and NOT clear for foreigners. It’s just awful and that’s why I left. The taxi drivers were always nice but I had to pay extra all the time. And it was a congested area, too much traffic."

"The best place to stay in Dakar. The staff was amazing and very welcoming. They go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay. Will definitely stay here again if I ever visit Dakar again."
