"The hotel was fine and the staff very friendly and accommodating. It appears to be an older property so the rooms are on the small side and had few plugs for electronics. Also, the water pressure in the shower was light, but adequate. The breakfast was very, very well set up. Well organized tables with more selections than perhaps any hotel I have ever stayed at. We did not take advantage on dinner onsite, but I looked at the menu, and it had numerous and varied selections. Had we dinner there, I don’t think we would have been disappointed. "

"Our stay at Villa Giona was absolutely perfect. The property is stunning; I felt as though I were living in a palace and being treated like royalty. Between the manicured gardens, the peaceful atmosphere, and the quiet location, it was the ideal romantic retreat for my wife and me. Every member of the staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience."

"It was such a treat to be able to wander through the beautiful gardens. Dinner was fabulous at their fancier restaurant. I did not do any of the spa services. However, I did enjoy the sauna, steam room, and soaking tub that was available. The room itself was lovely and well maintained. The art itself makes for a very interesting backdrop, there’s always something new to look at. A bit colorful, but fun."

"We had the most wonderful stay at this villa with a group of 20 friends. The space was absolutely perfect for a large group, the bedrooms were all generous in size and very comfortable. Due to some last-minute changes and a few couples being unable to attend, the host kindly arranged additional fold-out beds so that everyone who needed one still had their own bed, which we really appreciated.The indoor and outdoor dining areas were fantastic and worked perfectly for sharing meals together as a group. The villa itself had incredible facilities and plenty of space for everyone to relax and spend time together. We especially loved our time around the fire pit by night. Sadly the pool was out of action during our stay, but given it was late February this was completely understandable and didn’t take away from the experience at all.The host was amazing throughout, very responsive and even there to welcome us on arrival and see us off at the end of our stay.Thank you for such a wonderful stay. We had an amazing time and would absolutely love to return!"

"Maria is a great hostess. Very responsive. Location is excellent. 18 minutes to Verona. 22 minutes to Lago di Garda. As close as 10 minutes to Valpolicella vineyards and tasting rooms. Wonderful pool area. House is very comfortable. There were 9 of us. 3 families with kids. Room for us all and no crowding."
