"We really enjoyed our visit. Loved being able to go out on a boat, fish in the various ponds on the property and have a community pool that we could easily walk to. Quiet roads for morning walks. This was our second time staying in this neighborhood for a family vacation, our first time staying at this particular house. We had a few problems the first day and the communication with the host was a 10 out of 10!Keep in mind, the layout of the house does not allow for much privacy. My husband and I took our kids and grandkids on this trip. We stayed in the lower level bedroom. Anyone wanting to go out to the large conversation area (great for games, morning coffee watching the sunrise or a nap on the hanging bed’s) had to go through our bedroom to get there. If you’re staying in the bunk room on the 4th floor, you have to climb a ladder or go through the adjoining bedroom to get there. Just something to keep in mind if privacy is what you’re looking for or a quiet room for littles to nap.Great family vacation spent on Grand Lake!"

"Even though our weather did not cooperate, and Gloria joked that I “had not ordered the sunrise package“, our stay was delightful.We’ve stayed in many places. It is very evident that Gloria and Rick have put their heart and soul into making this a cottage that they themselves would want to stay in.I especially appreciated all of the small and thoughtful details."

"Lovely home and property for a lake getaway! Huge house with plenty of room for 4 adults and 4 kids. Well stocked kitchen and a gas and pellet grill. The kids loved the lily pad and swimming off the dock! The hot tub was a huge hit too. We encountered lots of ticks but discovered it was tick season so we just kept a close eye on everyone and it was fine. Great spot for a lake getaway!"

They put thought into their rental- a nice outdoor experience with a s'mores kit on the kitchen counter, all the essentials you could need plus extras like toys and games for the kids!
