"What mostly started well turned sour. First it was the lack of generator when the power went out during a winter storm. Then it was the owners continuously checking on us. Now the owners are filing an inflated claim for cosmetic wear and tear (light scratches that would occur on a brushed black stair case that can easily be sprayed with thin coat of paint or poly). "

"Excellent stay! Very clean and spacious. A little further away from Crystal Mountain than expected but still looking forward to booking again. Nicely equipped with extra bedding and plenty of towels and toiletry items. Crockpot included and well stocked dishes and kitchen utensils. Game room and loft area for kids were a hit! The host was very responsive. We will be back! "

"We highly recommend the Pleasant Lake Resort! Accommodations were perfect for our 3 generation family “Snow House” gathering. The hosts were very responsive & provided a clear & seamless check in/out process as well as recommendations for local businesses & activities. The accommodations were clean and well cared for. We were able to sled & skate on the lake and would love to return to enjoy the beach during the summer."

"The cabin was clean and tidy. Perfect for a quick overnight stay after skiing. Super close to the Crystal Mountain skiing. We enjoyed the hot tub…there was a mini fridge, but it wasn’t plugged in when we checked in so it took a long time to get cold…we just put our drinks outside since it was winter when we visited….otherwise, it was a great place to stay. The bed was comfy, shower was nice and hot, hot tub was clean and ready for us to use, internet provided so we could watch TV at night to relax. "
