About this property

Vista Getaway - Secluded country cabin, with wrap around porch and patio

  • Tucked away on 17 acres of land, this cabin is the perfect, secluded place to get away and relax!
    There is a wrap around porch (with a gas grill for your use) and a patio outside. There is a daylight basement with a lounge area (tv screen, couches, etc). The basement also has a bedroom with a queen size bed, a bathroom, and washer and dryer.
    The main floor has one bedroom with a king size bed, and deluxe bathroom (including jacuzzi and large tile shower.) It’s the perfect romantic getaway for honeymooners, or an anniversary, but there is also space to bring several couples or some friends! The kitchen, main living area and dining table are on the main floor. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, and the basics for cooking. There is also a beautiful gas fireplace on the main floor.
    The cozy loft space has a full size bed.
    This cabin has all the comforts of home with lots of little details to make it comfortable and special!

    There is WiFi at the cabin, and usually good Verizon service as well. But I also want this to be a retreat to take a break from the hustle and bustle of life, and to enjoy Gods creation. You will occasionally see deer, and typically lots of birds and squirrels.
    The cabin is about 25 minutes from Pine Grove, PA. Several attractions not too far are Rausch Creek Off Road Park, and Knoebels Amusement Park.

Fantastic property - Best Vrbo stay ever!

Long Winter Weekend Getaway

My husband and I went up for an extra long weekend away from the kids. We spent literally hours looking out the windows both while it was sunny and while it snowed. The house was cozy and the gas fireplace perfect. Jason responded promptly when we had a few questions. Anniversary trip

The wife and i wanted to get away for a nice quiet weekend for our anniversary and this delivered just that and then some. The cleanliness of the cabin was amazing and the host was nothing but helpful providing lots of optuons in the area for food and groceries to the amenities he offered at the cabin. The property was very well kept and very quiet and secluded which made the weekend very relaxing. The hot tub was clean and perfect for chilling out at night and the interior was confortable and cozy. This cabin is precisely what my family needed to disconnect and relax. We enjoyed the views, the house, the outdoor space, the rain shower, and the hot tub. This was the most amazingly perfect getaway spot for 2 old friends just wanting peace and quiet and a place to catch up. We had a lovely time at this cute cabin! I was pleasantly surprised with how clean it was - there wasn't even a single cobweb across the antlers on display. Amazing! We enjoyed the quiet & read our books sitting by the fireplace, gazing out the windows at the beautiful view. Absolutely perfect setting for a relaxing, quiet weekend. The cabin was also very well stocked with coffee, seasonings, cooking oil, toothbrushes, soaps, and even cold medicine. The hosts have thought of every detail to make it an enjoyable stay. We can't wait to return!

Privacy and beautiful Vista

This place is as advertised. Well stocked with amenities. The furnishings are top notch. Comfortable beds and furniture. The hot tub is awesome under the stars. We saw a herd of deer running and frolicking in the field every evening with a gorgeous sunset as a backdrop. The only negative was the proximity to dining. But hey, it is secluded and it has a great kitchen. The views are amazing. We will be back.

Awesome New Years

We rented this property for a NYE weekend, just the two of us. The property was fantastic. Very clean. Well-stocked kitchen, we made two meals and had everything we needed and then some. The view down the valley is gorgeous, and the hot tub was clean and everything worked well. The owner was prompt to answer a couple questions and was courteous. The fireplace worked great and made for a nice cozy weekend. We will definitely rent again in a different season to get a slightly different experience. Thanks so much!!
