"Stayed in the women’s hostel and there was no AC. 12 beds and fully booked made for incredibly hot night with little airflow."

"I liked the old country feel. The hotel was in very good condition for it's age. I wanted to stay somewhere away from the noise and bizzy of the cities of Vancouver and Portland. Part of keeping with the old theme were the shared bath and showers. They were accomodating and secure. I got exactly what I expected; steep stairs, drafty windows, and hot water that took a long time to reach the third floor. If you consider this before checking in then you will have an appreciation of this icon...

"The staff was nice"

"Very happy with our stay! Everything was clean, staff was great and the pool and hot tub were perfect temps. Breakfast was also one of the better ones we have had from a hotel."

"My room did not have a working phone. Not a single outlet gave enough power to charge my phone. When I told the front desk they said they will check on it AFTER I check out. Did not offer a new room or anything. Very disappointing. I don’t expect a lot but I expected power"

"We stay there quite often. We’ve been pretty happy so far plus being pet friendly is a huge plus."

"Rooms were filthy and homeless in parking lot. I paid for room sight unseen, got key key entered room and promptly checked out. Nonrefundable. I strongly recommend anywhere else. I do not recommend."

"You get what you pay for."

"Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Friendly staff and nice breakfast."

"The room was clean and put together well. The staff member was very nice, I arrived very late with a toddler and she made check-in as fast as possible and was very kind. Check out was easy, I was just trying to hand over my cards but someone was already being helped, and seeing that I had my hands full the man at the desk very momentarily stopped what he was doing to take my cards and went back to helping the other guest, staying professional to us both."

"No. Don't. Unless you want to leave with a strong cigarette stench clinging to all your clothes (despite their no smoking rule) and a possible toe fungus from the mold growing in the shower. The ground floor rooms had easily accessible windows for intruders and difficult locks to shut. I did not feel safe as a woman traveling alone. Also, if you are a light sleeper, there will be no sleeping with the extremely loud heater/air conditioner and fridge. Two thumbs down!"
