About this property
9 Bedroom Private vacation home in Lazio
Recharge in the lush greenery of Tuscia at an ancient country residence dating back to 1617—fully restored and equipped with every comfort—where you can enjoy relaxation, excellent food, and unforgettable experiences. The breathtaking view of the surrounding countryside, along with the tranquility and privacy of the estate—the last home before the woods—offer an unparalleled atmosphere in a part of Italy just waiting to be discovered: Tuscia. The villa features ample private parking and is accessed through an automatic gate. Your four-legged friends are welcome. Within the estate, you can visit an Etruscan tomb. The spacious interiors, large fireplaces, and piano are ideal for spending evenings with friends and sharing unforgettable moments. Upon request, you can enjoy breakfast, aperitifs, brunch, lunch, and dinner. Our dishes, desserts, and jams are homemade using seasonal and local ingredients, along with herbs and vegetables from our garden. Don’t miss the experiences designed especially for you: cooking classes, picnics, yoga, in-villa massages, hiking or biking excursions, wine testings at local wineries, and pottery workshops. We’ll organize any event you have in mind—whether it’s a wedding, a birthday, a baptism, or a dinner with friends—it will be an event tailored just for you, ensuring that you and your guests enjoy unforgettable experiences. The villa’s rooms are spacious and cozy, featuring extremely comfortable king-size beds, with the option to add up to two extra single beds or cribs. Each room has a private bathroom. The villa’s kitchen features a large fireplace and a marble table in the center of the room. Fully equipped, it features a refrigerator, freezer, commercial dishwasher, oven, microwave, kettles, pots, and dishes. The garden features two pergolas: the first, on the main side of the villa, is entirely covered in jasmine with its intoxicating fragrance. The large peperino stone table is perfect for breakfast, brunch, aperitifs, lunch, and dinner. The rear pergola, on the other hand, covered in wisteria, is ideal for barbecues and dinners. It, too, features a large peperino stone table, has a barbecue, and is adjacent to the kitchen. The villa features two adjacent swimming pools (6x12—maximum depth 2.10; 4x4—depth 1.20) and a sun deck equipped with lounge chairs and small tables. On summer evenings, the sun deck is the perfect spot for aperitifs, brunch, and intimate dinners, while on winter nights, it’s cozy and romantic to gather around the fire pit, sipping a glass of wine. Just a short walk from the Villa lies the mysterious and enchanting Corviano Natural Monument: a forest home to traces of the Iron Age, Etruscan structures, and Roman walls. A place where nature, history, and archaeology blend together in perfect harmony. As you stroll through the woods, you’ll come across picturesque dwellings carved into the rock, perfectly preserved anthropomorphic tombs hidden by the vegetation, and spectacular rocky cliffs where you can take photos of breathtaking views. Vitorchiano, the beautiful “Suspended Village,” is just a few kilometers from the Villa, where you can lose yourself in the narrow alleys of an enchanting medieval village where time seems to have stood still. Ten kilometers from the Villa lies Viterbo, a medieval city rich in art and culture, home to the evocative Terme dei Papi, Terme Salus, and the Bullicame. Don’t miss the Park of the Monsters in Bomarzo (11 km from the Villa), Villa Lante (8 km away), and the fabulous lakes of Vico, Bolsena, and Bracciano. Just 28 km from the Villa lies Civita di Bagnoregio, better known as “the dying city,” and 54 km away is Tarquinia, with its National Etruscan Museum and the Monterozzi Necropolis, consisting of as many as 6,000 tombs, some of which date back to the 7th century B.C., and listed as an UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Monte Cimino Beech Forest (one of the most majestic and ancient beech forests in Europe) and the Monte Raschio Beech Forest, both in the province of Viterbo, have been part of UNESCO’s World Natural Heritage since 2017. Festivals and fairs are held throughout the year in the charming villages of Tuscia. Don’t miss the procession of the Macchina di Santa Rosa in Viterbo on September 3.
