Escape to a beach-front vacation state of mind with special rates for summer stays from May to June 2023! Book now and experience an unforgettable vacation at Makani A Kai #A-6. This ground-floor condo is only a few steps away from the white sand beach, providing the perfect spot for relaxation and tranquility.

The unit features modern split-level A/C units in both master bedrooms and the living room, ensuring maximum comfort during your stay. The shoji door that separates the living room and guest bedroom can be left open while the split-level A/C cools the entire area. The condo is beautifully updated with quality finishes and furnishings. The kitchen boasts new cabinets, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and tile flooring, while the bathrooms feature new vanities, granite countertops, marble tiling, and walk-in showers. Both bedrooms have a serene feel, with king and queen-size beds, and the front bedroom is closed off from the living room with shoji sliding doors.

The unit can accommodate up to four guests and includes cable TV, internet, free Wi-Fi, on-site laundry facilities, and parking for one vehicle per unit. Makani A Kai #A-6 has outstanding panoramic views, which can be enjoyed from the lanai, lounge chair, or poolside BBQ and picnic areas.

Safe and quiet area. Beach was beautiful but gets rougher as the day goes on. Turtles hang out by the rocks 50 ft out. Kitchen well stocked. Only nitpicks I have are: Would've liked in unit washer and dryer but the community facilities are nearby. Would've liked a journal for guests to fill out for subsequent guests, with tips on food, excursions etc. We had an excellent trip and this property was exactly what we needed

Great Central location, steps to the beach

Highly recommend this property! The location is centrally located to all areas of Maui. The unit is gorgeous and has everything you need from body boards to snorkel gear, beach chairs and umbrella...etc. We had a very good stay with no issues!

Beautiful view

We absolutely loved this property. It being on the ground floor was really nice and being able to walk out on the grass and then straight down the beach was lovely. It got quite windy in the late afternoons but not too bad. The harbor was just down the street and the middle of the island location was nice to cut down on travel time. The unit was lovely and clean.

Amazing!

Everything we were looking for and more! Great location, clean and friendly staff. Oceanfront watching the sea turtles everyday, well kept grounds, clean and heated pool. Quiet and low key as we did not want a busy high rise, this was a perfect slice of paradise. Definitely coming back!

Central location if you are looking to explore Maui

Place was as described with comfortable beds, nice kitchen, beach amenities (chairs, body boards, coolers, umbrella). Centrally located to access many day trips. Short drive to Kehie to watch the sunset. We did not release the place was next to a public beach access and we could hear the party from the campers on the weekend from our lanai. We came home after exploring one day to find a stranger sitting on the chairs on our lanai smoking. He went over to the lounge chairs after seeing me. Not sure if he and his friends were staying on property. II contacted the manager when we found a dead mouse near our lanai and it was removed the next day.

Great escape!

My family and I spent a week at this cabin and loved it! The yard is literally just a few feet from the beach. The view from the porch was wonderful! The best place to sip your favorite drink while admiring the sights and sounds of the ocean. Amazing place. The only recommendation I have for the owners is maybe to open up some kind of pathway between the yard and the beach. As it was, there was a sign saying not to cross the green barrier between the two, so what could have been a five-foot path, became a long walk around the perimeter of the property back to a parking lot to find the entry point to the beach area. However, this is really just a very minor point. The upside of the current arrangement is increased privacy of the property, since the beach is, in fact, public.

Quiet, Beautiful, Strategic - Just Right!!

This quiet corner right on the beach was the perfect place for relaxing and enjoying the sun and the beach. No crowds. Plenty of sand. There is a very nice view of the bay and the open water as well as Kihei, the island of Kaho'olawe and the snorkeling island of Molokini. This is the prefect place to access everything else Maui has to offer. The condo was clean. The A/C units worked great. Other guests in the area were respectful, friendly, and quiet in the evenings. I would definitley stay here again.

Nice with a few quirks

Clean and efficient unit - lovely view of ocean and direct access to outside seating and lawn area. The bathroom situation is a little odd. One bedroom ensuite - the second bathroom is right outside the ensuite bedroom. The second bedroom has louvered doors and opens to the living room so little privacy. The laundry facility is a common area and has an internet based payment system. Unfortunately the cellular service is so weak it is hit or miss if you can access the internet. So you may end up with a machine of clothes and soap and not be able to activate the washer. Overall enjoyed the unit and located in a great section of Maui so convenient to many areas.

Perfect Place

This property was perfection - on the beach, private, great space, great location....! We saw turtles, whales, fish and more - right out our door. We cannot wait to come back!

Quiet, private, beautiful.

We loved it here. Perfect oceanfront location. Quiet and serene. The complex appeared to be full, but we hardly ever saw other people, the pool was almost always to ourselves, and parking was always available. The unit was clean and comfortable. No problems whatsoever; I never had to contact the on-site manager or the management company for help, but they were just a text or call away if I needed anything. The location is great: convenient to the airport and Kahului for shopping, an easy drive to Kihei and Wailea for restaurants. And Lahaina and Kaanapali are only a half hour’s drive (not far, but the speed limit is low). The beach is sandy and clean and so easy to access and not overcrowded. My only wish is that there weren’t a five-night minimum so I could stay here on weekend trips. I would stay here again – no hesitation whatsoever.

Just another day in paradise

We loved our stay in Maui and would rent this property again. It was clean, beautiful view, private back lanai on beach. We enjoy the quiet location and don’t mind driving 15 minutes to find additional restaurants and like being in a central location to most everything on the island.

Lovely condo in great location

Large and beautiful condo in excellent convenient but secluded location in a small complex (Makani a Kai) with outstanding landscaping, right on a miles long uncrowded beach. The views from the lanai are amazing. Wonderful place.

Great Location!

This property was great! The location sold it for the wife and I. You face the ocean and the walk to beach is literally a 20seconds. Not a bad place to snorkel, we were able to swim with a few sea turtles the times we went out. The bedroom next to the ocean was magnificent, being able to go to sleep and wake up to the ocean waves crashing on the shore was priceless. Every morning @ 0734ish we sat on the back porch area, drinking coffee and watched the sunrise come over Mt. HALEAKALA. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook, which we took advantage of. The back bedroom which actually the master bedroom has its own shower and toilet room, as well as its own mini split for those hot nights. Only con really which is not much of one because we didn't spend much time in the room during the day was that the neighboring unit A-5 is being remodeled so the one day we did stay in the room the construction noise made it hard to take a nap haha.
