This was a well-maintained hotel with wonderful staff. The room itself was lovely and has great amenities. The 3 twin room was surprisingly spacious for 3 people. The on-premises restaurant was great too. The location is quiet and spacious which is a nice change from the surrounding metro area. It is literally next to a train station so transit is a breeze. I felt very safe and seen when I was at the hotel. The front desk staff is amazing and super quick with serving their guests. The area around the hotel was great and easily walkable. I will definitely be back at this hotel in the near future!!

We are so glad we chose this hotel for our last night in Tokyo. Fantastic staff. Room was spacious with good amenities. Great bed. Blackout shades. Very quiet despite being on a busy street. Just a block away from the nearest train station, and free shuttle to the airport (Haneda).

I was a bit skeptical, as I saw multiple APA hotels in my search, but that is because of how good it is. It is a very eco friendly hotel with a moto of "Simplified Luxury" which is exactly what it was. It was very walkable to all the major spots of Shinjuku we were looking for- the station, the tourist spots, etc. Also, all the amenities the hotel had to offer. Compact as you’d expect in Tokyo area but jam packed with all the essentials. Location is great being steps away from the subway station and a 10 min walk from Shinagawa Station.(direct Narita Express train from the international airport) There is also a convenience store right around the corner as well as a grocery store near by. They offer a breakfast buffet for a fee as well. We made this hotel our home for 3 days, but would have been pretty comfortable even for a week. We will keep this...

Our stay at Hotel Niwa made our Japan trip exceptional! As American travelers in our early 30s, we found this place to be a gem in Tokyo. Great location in Asakusa! Convenient to multiple train lines, food, shopping and temple grounds. Rooms are bigger than anticipated but minimal storage, no drawers and small closet. Premier lounge was a pleasant surprise and appreciated. 4th floor izakaya style food court was not up to par and disappointing, chose elsewhere to eat. Kobe restaurant is over priced and seldom busy. Uniglo store was a great! Don Quixote is a tourist trap and overpriced! Recommend and would return.
