Spacious twin room with good amenities.. Comfy beds , fluffy towels, bathroom toiletries, tea & coffee , homemade shortbread a nice touch. Tv and radio good . Goood breakfast choice. Friendly staff. Comfy pub and restaurant. Only poor thing was bathroom radiator and skirting under it needed a good dusting.

No complaints it was very good value for the money room great I arrived just after eight so they’d finished Sunday lunch my fault not there’s breakfast very good though would definitely stay again 👍

Superb

We were very surprised. The welcome we received was good. The room is basic but very clean and we had a very good night sleep. The bed was very comfortable which is very important. The restaurant/pub downstairs is dog friendly and they have their own dog menu. The staff were very approachable, friendly and helpful. Location is great for Longleat and Stonehenge both of which are close. We will return next year to visit longleat.

Great food George inn

Room was small, fairly standard but had a clever bunk bed which separated the beds. Bathroom dated but still ok with good shampoos etc. Food was excellent Sunday roast, desserts a little on the expensive side.

One of a kind.

For an Inn, the George Inn has blown my mind away from having that welcoming customer services to the comfortable, peaceful, luxurious stay overnight. I wished that I booked for a few days as the location was convenient to all attractions in the area. To top up off, the price is just attractive for a last-minute booking.

Wonderful Inn with great Ambience

The inn location is convenient and is near a hidden lake. The lake is beautiful. The ambience is cheerful and warm. I loved the breakfast. The room is comfortable with modern tools like a great TV, Nespresso machine and even a Dyson fan. Room is great.
