"The staff’s attitude was the only saving grace. They were able to help me but the issues were plentiful. First, accessing the property was quite the struggle. You can only enter the parking lot in one direction on one street. Not their fault but annoying nonetheless. Second, Hotels.com double booked me in their system so I did not have a room when I arrived. So I was upgraded. And when I entered my upgraded room it was either not yet cleaned or someone else was staying in it already. After that I returned to the front desk and informed them of this and a second staff member had arrived at this time so she helped me and upgraded me again and this time I was able to get into an empty room. The room wasn’t dirty by any means, but it didn’t feel as clean as most of the rooms I have stayed in. I encountered a spider within the first 60 seconds, an unknown second insect 2-3 minutes after that, and noticed that under the bed was not cleaned (probably for a while) and that’s probably where that bug came from. The staff was friendly and very apologetic so I want to make sure I highlight that. But there are definite technical issues and cleanliness issues that need to be addressed."
