The hotel was great. Location was central to a lot of great restaurants and activities. Parking was the issue. This hotel charges $70 a night for valet parking, which is outrageous.

Hotel is centrally located, 2.5 blocks walking distance to the White House and multiple restaurants, fine dining and fast food. It’s less than a mile, walking distance to the Washington Monument and the Smithsonian. The hotel - foyer, reception area, dining, and room were immaculately clean. The room had minimal street noise and it was well-stocked with toiletries. Front desk clerks were helpful and courteous. They serve continental breakfast daily from 6am-10am. It was complete with fresh fruits, baked goods, omelets, coffee, tea, etc. All the right ingredients to get you charged and energized for your fun-filled day of sightseeing and enjoying LIFE!

Great place to stay for visiting DC only a block away from the Farragut West station on the Metro. Nice breakfast buffet typical of Hampton Inn. The front desk staff was very helpful, especially Paris. Was able to use the check baggage room early on the day of arrival and late on the day departure. Made touring so much easier.

Excellent location, delicious breakfast, clean rooms and helpful staff! Overall we had a great trip! The only complaint is the parking, close to $70 per night. Fortunately, we parked across the street at 1750 H St for $26.50 (we booked via SpotHero app, check in 2pm on Saturday check out 10am on Sunday, no in/out privileges, the garage is closed at night).

Good:Great location for weekend visitors. Front desk staff was very nice and professional. Convenient to most DC attractions and the Metro. Needs Improvement: Rooms are small and dated. The AC did not work well. There are only two elevators in a 10+ story hotel, and one of them was out of service for most of our visit. The beds were uncomfortable - seemed as if the mattress was worn down with little support. My wife and I both received many insect bites on our arms and legs while there. The hotel should do a real good deep clean of all their rooms.

Great stay at rhe Hampton Inn. Room was perfect, comfortable bed for good night's sleep. Excellent amount of outlets available for charging electronics, great lighting in bathroom. Breakfast was wonderful with good selections. Location was perfect to Metro less than 1 block and with walking distance to view White House and to National Mall. Pool was small but fine for my 9 yr old to swim. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly interacting with my son regularly. Easy to store our bags before room was ready as we arrived early. Would stay here again. Highly recommend!
