This is now one of my favorite hotels in DC. The location is great! The staff was so welcoming and the rooms was clean, great amount of space and a balcony. I was there for work, but will be back for a vacation too!

The large suites and balconies are a rare find. And to have so much space and an outdoor area really elevated this hotel above all the rest. The location could not be bettered either. A 5 min walk to Foggy Bottom Metro puts the whole of Washington in reach.

The door staff were excellent, but dealing with the hotel on the phone was not ideal, and the admin issues were hard to deal with. They could not even locate one of the cars that had been given to valet service for over 50$ per day. We had to prove ownership to have it retrieved. The amenities available were lacking given the price of the rooms. The breakfast was substandard and very expensive. Most guests ate out, even at Starbucks. The positives were the cleaners (excellent hygiene), location, and doorman staff. The rest was really substandard.
