Main great thing about this property is the staff, super friendly, accommodating, and welcoming. However if you happen to be the light sleeping night owl type this most likely isnt the place for you. Late at night and by early morning you can hear everything that goes on outside the pods

I mean the place is sparkling clean at all times. The location could not possibly be any more downtown then right next to Capital One arena where I wanted to go. The capsules provide a lot of privacy and in a place like Washington DC where everything is super expensive it's nice to find something for under $70 while everything else is sold out and hotels are in $300 plus category. I was literally able to book the reservation and check in remotely but staff is also super friendly and helpful.

They for some reason have their own proprietary system (or bought from an indie vendor) for giving people virtual keys - and they offer no physical ones. The problem is that it doesn’t work. I and several other guests had problems checking in, and when you do inevitably have a problem you’ll have to wait, probably for several hours. Don’t make plans soon after your arrival

Check in was smooth once I was able to contact the staff, and I honestly loved the capsule experience! I would definitely stay here again during a quick trip to DC. The restrooms were clean and the location was quite cozy.

No heat in 32 F/0 C weather. No hot water. No breakfast. No toilette paper. No air circulation in pods. No flexibility from manager (until a broken pod door forced her to move me to a better pod that "miraculously" became available). Pods are very dimly-lit. Entering door access codes is tricky often requiring multiple attempts. Only 4 storage shelves in a room for 8. Lockers stacked so high a ladder is needed. This was my experience in the all-female 8-person room so "buyer beware."

The hostel was great, and everyone was very kind. Free breakfast and sound proofing in the capsules was great. Two notes: your phone is your key for EVERYTHING so make sure it's charged/you have a backup charger. Also, bring toilet paper if you don't want to use a bidet.

The location was conveniently close to transit, which made traveling from the hostel to the museum very easy. The environment was well organized and clean. The location is great, and the place is generally fine for a weekend stay. The room was decent, and I really like the idea of capsules since they offer more privacy. However, as others have mentioned, the place feels a bit unfinished, and there are quite a few small issues. For example, the airflow in the capsules is limited, so they get very hot when you close them. There are also no clear signs indicating which bed number is the top or bottom bunk — I spent a long time looking and eventually just picked one. The linens and towels could use an update; they weren’t exactly dirty, but they had spots and blemishes that clearly hadn’t washed out. I also want to point out that there is no toilet paper, only a bidet. Personally, that’s not my preference, and I would have liked to know that before booking. In general, the place felt a bit messy, especially the living room and kitchen, which looked and felt more like someone’s personal home. Overall, it really depends on what kind of hostel experience you’re after. If you prefer a homey place where guests seem to stay for a long time and know each other, this could be a good fit. If you’re looking for something more private and polished, I wouldn’t recommend it.

The staff were really nice. It was the weekend so i was able to park right out front for free. The sleeping pod was nice and the locker was spacious. It was cool that you unlock the doors and the locker with an app on your phone. The kitchen was big and had everything needed to cook. There were plenty of bathrooms but the showers could have been cleaner. The bidets were a nice touch. Breakfast was cooked for each person that wanted it. A woman made scrambled eggs, pancakes, and sausage. It was really good! This place is in China Town and very close to everything. I walked the the National mall in less than 15 minutes and the Capital One Arena in 5.

O hostel tem um enorme potencial, mas parece que ainda não foi totalmente finalizado. As paredes estão sem pintura, o banheiro tinha um cheiro forte de esgoto e, embora as camas dos quartos sejam boas e confortáveis, parecem não estar instaladas 100%. No geral, tudo passa a sensação de ser meio improvisado e sem o cuidado necessário. A localização é excelente e o staff é realmente muito bom — atencioso e simpático. Porém, o hostel deixa a desejar nos detalhes: falta um pouco de carinho, acabamento e atenção geral para que a experiência seja realmente completa.
