The historic neighborhood was a perfect setting for our family, and Sara (property owner) was accommodating and available, answering all
of my questions immediately.
This was a great place to stay with so many options for restaurants close by. The bedrooms were spacious and despite being on a busy road, quiet. The parking space in the back was convenient and was given to the family member with children as they had to bring so many more supplies than the rest of us. The neighborhood felt safe and "Ubering" around the city was easy. We live within an hour or two of the city but seldom visit it together so this was a wonderful experience. Our host, Sara, was very kind and informative.
The property was both conveniently located near the convention center and reasonably priced for our small group of professionals. As an investment property, the VRBO does need considerable work—what the host refers to as “character.” Because of the unsafe stairs, I wouldn’t recommend it for seniors or families with children. However, for groups of adults visiting D.C. for business or leisure who want a convenient and affordable option, I’d highly recommend staying here. The kitchen is well appointed, the house has great sitting areas, and there is even a parking spot available!
This house is enormous! Parking spot right behind house is convenient and street parking is also available! Beautifully maintained historic property located in walking distance to mall, supermarket and restaurants. Easy access to metro also if that’s your preference (which is very reasonably priced). Kitchen is pretty well stocked with cooking supplies and utensils. Third floor bathroom is REALLY nice for shower or jacuzzi tub as well! Hot water, Brita drinking water filter in fridge, washer/dryer, and woodwork in home are extras I really appreciated! Thanks Sara!
We were a multi generational family group of 7 staying for 5 nights. The location can’t be beat!! We were able to walk to dinner each night, used Uber and the Metro system very easily from this location. Our host, Sara, was quick to reply to any questions or concerns we had.
The house itself is older, so there are some creaks when walking around. The upstairs bedrooms can b very hot, so keep this in mind when traveling over the summer.
Overall, we were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay.
This property provides spacious rooms and a great combination of old and new. The house has been updated with modern appliances and bathrooms. We had seven people and everyone had their own space and privacy
Logan Circle was a wonderful place to stay for a few days while conducting business in DC.
The host was great and communication was efficient. We couldn’t be happier!
We had a great time in this house. It is centrally located. We either could walk everywhere, get there by subway/bus, or an uber was just two minutes away. Outside at tubes could be a little noisy, but that can be expected with living in the city. Overall we had a great time.
We are 3 families with teens visiting DC for the first time. The location is perfect: close to public transit, grocery stores, restaurants. The house is very roomy and well equipped. Sarah, the owner, was very responsive, helpful and friendly. Overall an excellent experience!

Really cool house.
25 minutes walk to the national Mall. Minutes walk from stores and busy 14th street with a lot of restaurants.
Our trip was a success! We traveled to DC for our convention and the location was perfect… 10 min walk to the convention center & a 10 min Uber to all other places. The home was spacious and had the necessity needed to accommodate the group. There is parking for 1 vehicle behind the house, but be aware that you are in the city, so there are rats. Our only real concern was the lack of communication on the freezer not working prior to arrival & no response about how to work the TV.
The description in the listing is accurate. Rhode Island is a busy street and the windows are old, so bring ear plugs. If you have a party of 10, you may find that you are short on knives or spoons, otherwise the kitchen has everything you need. We were there in the spring time, so didn't have any cooling or heating issues. It is a great place to walk to major sites from or a nice walk to metro or bus.The high chair and pack n play were clean and easy to find.
We have stayed for many years & for many months all over the country. So many great experiences! This time has been a great disappointment! A small adult family reunion & the checkin code was changed, while we stood in the rain. Upstair sink drained down the wall. Rat in the kitchen. Many rats outside the back door in the alley. Landlord suggested a free night NEXT TIME, but never responded instead to our requested one night refund. So very disappointed 😔
Spacious place but a bit older and you notice. Cheaper to book because of that. Can comfortably hold up to 8 people as it has 4 rooms and 5 beds. Plenty of towels and sheets and all. Freezer is broken and many light bulbs are out and the hood over stove has issues. Good location in Logan circle and walkable to bars and restaurants and grocery stores. Host is responsive with messages and was very flexible around check in and check out. Overall good communication and support. It is next to a dog park social club so will be a little loud from music there. Did have a leak from one shower that I hope host can address. Note you have to do your own load of laundry upon check out for sheets. Also note that door code in welcome message or listing might not be correct. The private message was different from the others and it caused confusion for check in so just double check all that and clarify any discrepancies.
Fantastic townhouse with tons of character and plenty of room.
In town for a wedding, stayed 4 nights with 5 other family members, all adults. This is an old house, but with modern upgrades where it counts: kitchen and bathrooms. Beautiful wood everywhere, very roomy, just a lovely old home with incredible details, Very comfy seating areas and a nice dining room table that seats 6, so we could eat breakfast and lunch in and save a few bucks on restaurants. There are TVs in bedrooms and a large one in the dining/seating area, but we never turned them on.
Kitchen is well appointed and has plenty of glassware, dishes, cooking utensils, pots and pans. everything you need - even a small pantry cabinet with things like spices, sugar, etc.
Sheets and towels were provided, and there is a stacking washer/dryer in the 1st floor bathroom.
It's conveniently located at Logan Circle, and best of all comes with a parking space in the rear. We had 2 cars and we were able to get a guest parking permit for the street.
Just a great place that is very comfortable and beautiful.
I would definitely stay here again.
Our family of 6 enjoyed a week long stay at this roomy property near Logan Circle. Very convenient to the District and not far from grocery stores and restaurants. The house has a lot of character and is well equipped.
Overall, the place did the job for our stay in DC for 3 nights. We were two families with small kids including a baby. The details in the instructions alluded to some things not working such as some light bulbs or the stove vent. There was a lot more that was left out though —- kitchen sink easily clogged, dishwasher was full of stinky water that didn’t drain, garbage disposal didn’t work. Disappointed that we spent a lot of time washing dishes. Owner offered to look into it while we were there, but we didn’t think it would be a great idea to have maintenance people around trying to figure this out while we were on site.
Various fixtures were broken, loose, or easily coming off the wall, stair well banister poles also missing, loose, and one completely popped out. May be a safety issue if you are not watching small kids on the stairs.
House experience was also noisy on many levels. It’s an old house so lots of loud creaky stairs and wood floors to be expected. Bedroom furniture in the two street facing bedrooms were super loud and creaky when getting in or out. This was relavent to us since we slept w the baby in our room. Also lot of street noise from trucks at all hours of night and especially early morning.
House needs some major updating and fixing, and TLC. Overall experience of staying here was nothing special.
Best part was it being close to a coffee shop and the metro. Nice that it had a pack n play and high chair as well.
