Gorgeous and prestigious place, service is quite good and professional, restaurant Alhambra is top notch with 5-star worthy food and drinks! However, it is lacking some services I am used to, like Spa service and swimming pool. A better concierge service would also be helpful in booking the famous afternoon tea. That being said, it is still a nice hotel to stay in DC.

It's a classic St. Regis hotel. The staff is very attentive and at your service. I didn't love the room I had. Although it was recently renovated, it still felt quite cheaply done. It felt like the hotel gets run-through with people often. It is DC so it can be expected. I loved that the hallways had tiled floors. The carpet is quite a bother to lug a suitcase on. Overall, the room was spacious, quiet, and fine. As I said, it's your typical St.Regis hotel.
