Weekend Away From Anchorage

This is a Clean, warm, comfortable place to stay. We have relatives in the Wasilla area, so this gave us a base to visit them from.I highly recommend this as a place to stay.

Great Cabin

We had a great stay. The cabin is very comfortable. Ben was quick to respond with any questions and suggestions for things to do. This was our first trip to Alaska. I would absolutely stay here again.

Great central location to explore surrounding areas..l

Had a great time at this cabin, everything thing you could possibly need. Stores and groceries are near by and food deliver is available. Got to meet Ben and he was very helpful in whatever we needed. Will definitely be coming back, no doubt. Highly recommend these cabins.

So cozy!

You feel like you are out away from your busy life but yet so close to what you need and to fun events and activities. So nice to go back to the cabin and disconnect and relax. This is our home away from home every Christmas season now.

Our stay in the cabin was great. Easy check-in/out, and the owner was super quick to respond. Upon arrival everything was clean and ready for us, to include plenty of amenities such as coffee, snacks, teas, condiments, cooking & dining ware, etc. The area was quiet and easy to access, plus it was close to town but still felt private

Wasilla cabin

Very tidy, well equipped and organized cabin near Wasilla we used to stay a night while traveling between different Alaskan towns. Owner had everything you need easily accessible and wonderful outside covered fire pit area for an evening fire. Bedroom was nice size and loft space was large, however stairs leading to loft were smaller so had to be careful going up and down. Definitely would recommend this cabin and would stay there again!!

Amazing place!

We will absolutely be back to this adorable cabin! He really thought of everything here. We had a grill to use, fire pit and wood, shampoo, conditioner, laundry equipment and full size washer/dryer. He even left orange juice, milk, and smores stuff for us. Oh and coffee! He really thought of everything. This cabin was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. Great location as well. We will definitely be back!

Perfect for us

This was perfect for us. Three adults, my wife and i and my 80 year old mother. The trip was a bucket list thing for her birthday. My wife and i have been to Aladka many times, usually staying in Wasilla/Palmer area. This was a great stay for a comfortable Alaskan experience. Cute, well appointed, comfortable log cabin in a wooded area but convenient to things. Great owner who thought of everything. Will always look for a reservation here during future trips.

Beautiful cabin in quiet area

This beautiful cabin in the woods was the perfect setting for our 4 day trip to the Wasilla & Palmer areas to attend the Arctic Winter Games. Easy to get to and around, loads of amenities nearby. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay and Ben, the host, was super easy to deal with. The spectacular landscape of the area makes you feel like you’re living in a postcard! My companions, two women nearing 80yrs loved the quaintness of the cabin too. The stairs to the upper level were no trouble even for the guest with a knee replacement! Great handrails on both sides made all the difference. Would definitely stay again!
