"I remember when staying at a Hampton Inn was looking forward to THE MOST comfy, cushy, luxurious beds in the hotel world. Those beds were something else. Pillowtop plush with puffy pampering pillows. It's been a while since I've stayed at a Hampton, so when I booked this reservation, I was thinking that I'd be welcomed back into that comfy, cushy luxurious world of slumber. Sadly, the modern version that I got was nothing like the past version. The room I got felt dated, or outdated. The bed was decently comfortable, but NOTHING like those memories of mine. Pillows were even less. The toilet is VERY low. Like sitting in your toddler grandchild's teatime chair. And the bedframe legs are definite big 'toe stubbers'. I hit my toes on the bed legs several times. That said, I got an okay night's sleep. And SLEEP is the ENTIRE reason for hotels. The number ONE deterrent from gaining a good night's sleep is usually the room air quality. Cold or hot. I had to set the air conditioning at 70 degrees to remain comfortable. It sure did not feel like 70 degrees. Believe me, there were no icicles hanging from the ceiling. The 3rd floor hallway was quite warm, too. The second deterrent to a restful stay is noise. The room was quiet OTHER than the a/c. That machine was rather loud. The ON and OFF cycling of the a/c was distracting and sleep disturbing. I hate to sound picky, but for a review to be helpful, one must be honest. Overall, an ok stay but NOT Hampton perfect."

"Overall great house, had everything we needed. We liked the outside kitchen and covered dock. The only issue we had was parking boat trailer because of the size of our boat. Host offered a lot nearby but we already found a spot to park it by the time we heard back."

"We had a great stay. The house has everything that you may need. We took our 22ft boat and found the location super convenient. It is near the public ramp which makes it easy to get into the canal. Perfect setup for big families and the host was super helpful. I will be looking forward to book this property again."

"We loved the house. Just needed a few more wash cloths, regular glass glasses, silverware was small, plates were also plastic. Some of our party needed to have cotton sheets and not polyester. Overall nice place."
