"Very friendly/helpful staff upon arrival. The room was spotlessly clean and struggled to find any issues with the hotel. Bit of a diamond in the rough kind of area, however as a solo traveler, the unique code to get into the hotel and the room added that extra security. Easy walk to all amenities and to the city centre, less than 20 minutes. Great value for money "

"The hotel is best suited for one - or two if you don't mind having to step around each other. The rooms are quite small, the bed too big for the room. Rhe little deskette with chair, if used, collides with the bed. The bath has all the usual, but is by far, the smallest I've ever met. The good, though, is that the hotel is mere feet from Cardiff Central and is well located. The desk staff pleasant and helpful, and the bed is comfortable. "First off, the staff at this hotel was very good. Kind, responsive, professional. The pieces of the hotel outside of my room was overall as expected for a building of this age. However, my room was awful, no ventilation at all, it smelled like cigarette smoke, the floors were oddly sticky so walking barefoot was not possible, the lighting was awful (suggest a replacement of bulbs for a softer ambiance). But the real problem was excessive black mold in the shower. By excessive, I mean...

"The property was easy to access and everything that we needed was provided for e.g. towels, cups, glasses etc. The only issue was there that was no hand towels in the bathroom so you had to remember to take the larger towel with you. "
