I rarely write reviews, however Southfleet Motor Inn is truly a gem. Lovely staff/family vibe and no frills stay in Wellfleet. The indoor pool and hot tub were amazing and close proximity to several restaurants and a shop. Highly recommend!

Well located for exploring the Cape. Even though the motel was busy, it was quiet at night. Many of the travellers are older or families. Not a party scene, which we appreciated. Rooms are large and spacious. Two restaurants neighboring the motel make last minute diner choices easy.

Lovely place in the Cape. Kind and caring staff. So close to all of the good beaches. Alex was amazing, came out and lit a fire for guests to enjoy around the fire pit. Two pools on the property! Very well maintained

Spacious rooms, could use some new pillows (a bit flat), but really like the facilities - including a bbq area and fire pit. Also, rooms could use more frequent vacuuming, picked up a twist tie and other small items from the floor on entering.

Best spot across from Marconi

Our stay was very good! We loved the location and convenience of having a great restaurant just a walking distance. The option of having two pools and indoor and outdoor was great for the kid. Also having my favorite national seashore beach right across from it was also amazing! We’ve stayed there 3 different times and always had a great experience.

The location on Route 6 in Wellfleet was very convenient for restaurants, beaches and recreational activities. The staff was always very friendly. We really enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub. It was clean, quiet, friendly and comfortable. Nothing fancy, but just what we needed. We would definitely stay again.

The location is amazing! If you’re a biker, there’s no need to drive anywhere. Easy access to the bike bath and at least 2 ocean beaches you can ride to in about 15 minutes. And easy access to food with restaurants on each side of the property or take advantage of the microwave in the lobby or the great fridge in the room. It’s also family-owned and lovely with a fire pit lit each evening.

Everything was great. The only complain that I will have is that they should change the carpets in the bedrooms and possible put some screen doors other than that everything was perfect for an old building.

Always a warm welcome and a clean room…

The Southfleet is in a great location, directly across from the bike path, just down the road to Marconi Beach and next door to one of the best restaurants in Welfleet. They have an indoor and outdoor pool, a warm and accommodating staff and they are family run. We have stayed with them many times and will continue to do so when our travels bring us to the Cape Cod area. Obviously their prices have increased quite a bit from previous years but what hasn’t? At least they earn those extra dollars with a smile and a way that makes one feel at home away from home.

The room looked clean, but there were ants and Nats in the room. The dead bolt was hard to lock needs to be Adjusted. The jacuzzi seemed very cloudy not very clean.
