Great location

You are paying for the spot for sure- it’s on a quiet street right on the beach. Some things could use fixing which I sent to the gal that’s overseeing the property. Hopefully they’re addressed :) it’s pricey so expectations are high.

357 Days Until We Return!!!

Yes, we are already counting the days until our return. This is our 4th year staying at this amazing house and we hope it will remain a tradition for many years to come. We have also maintained the tradition of adding another day to our stay each year - it simply is too hard to leave. It is so wonderful to feel as if we are in a sense returning "home." While this house is so elegant and spacious, it also maintains a cozy feel. I just love preparing meals in the fantastic kitchen with a view of the ocean and being able to chat and visit with family close by in the open and luxurious living space. The house is clean and well-maintained and the owners are quick to reply when a question arises. In truth words cannot describe our fondness for this home and beach and our gratitude for the ability to relax and rejuvenate as well as spend time with family in these amazing surroundings!!

Another Great Stay!!

This home is a family favorite! We have come here in the Fall 3 of the last 4 years and hope to be back again next year. Great place to relax, with nearby hiking, shopping and numerous other activities.

Amazing

This property is super clean and the location is perfect. This was our fourth year at this property and I have reservations for next year. My family loves this part of Drakes Island and the house is just perfect for a week. Look forward to next year.

Family Time 2024

We love this property. This is our second year- from infants to grandparents our family had so much fun relaxing and playing. The beach is amazing. Looking forward to our 2025 visit.

Late Winter Family Getaway

My family has been vacationing on Drakes Island for 30+ years. In the past few years, we have added a long weekend tradition in the late winter or early spring. This is our second year staying at this property. We have loved every second of it and definitely plan to be back!

Each year it's harder to leave!!!

This is our third year staying at this amazing beachfront home and we are ready to book next years stay! The location- the views- it's proximity to groceries- dining- activities- all while being away from it all is just one of the reasons we love it. The owners are so responsive and communicative. We know they are a text or message away. The home itself is warm and welcoming while also having such elegance and style! And did I mention the view. :) Simply put each year we extend our stay just a bit and yet it gets harder and harder to leave. Trust me we will be counting the days til our return!!

Awesome location

This is a beautiful, spacious house right on a gorgeous stretch of beach! Peak out the windows to see the beautiful sunrise. Walk the beach day or night! The home is so spacious in all rooms including the gourmet kitchen and the bedrooms. The master suite is so nicely done. I’m grateful I was able to stay at this home and would love to come back again!!

Summer 2023

Magical Family vacation, we had a large group including five little ones. We had so much fun every day between the beautiful beach and large yard and the house was immaculate. This property is one of our favorites and we look forward to our next stay.

Great house on Drake Island in Maine

Fabulous house, perfectly located on Drake Island Beach. The house has a Great Master Bedroom at the 2nd floor, with a fantastic view of the ocean. 2 other bedrooms with private bathroom. Great spacious kitchen opened to the dining room and family room at the 1st floor. Highly recommended.

Counting the days til we can return!

I hesitate to say it as I don’t want to have to compete with others for time in paradise, but this is by far one of the most special and magical places we have ever stayed at! What makes it even more exceptional is that the hosts are receptive, available, and quick to respond. I know many people might not consider vacationing in their home state, but when you live in vacationland it seems crazy to go elsewhere and when you find a place that makes you feel as if you are living in a home on the old TV show “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous,” well, it’s ridiculous to look further. It also allowed our grown children the ability to come by for several meals with us and we spent long relaxing evenings around the magnificent huge table while watching moonlight shimmer on the water which is literally right outside the door. We cherish the opportunity to we had to wake up and fall asleep to the sound of the ocean, sip coffee on the porch as we witnessed the sun rising, and enjoy long walks on the pristine beach. We are leaving rejuvenated and refreshed and dreaming of next year.
