With golf, castles, and the Shropshire Hills all available locally, there is endless amounts of activities to choose from.
Forden is in the middle of Welshpool and Montgomery. Montgomery, with its medieval street layout, imposing Town Hall, and mix of Georgian, Victorian, and timber framed buildings, it’s a place where time seems to stand still. Stroll around the local shops offering gifts, fashion and home interiors, or if you’re looking for something of a foodie’s pleasure there are a few lovely independent cafés serving home-made cakes, a delicatessen and a couple of great restaurants.
