The actual property was better than the photos. Karen helped us find the property and then stayed out of our way. We are widows who found the property to be the perfect place to deepen our relationship. It was perfectly located, clean, and well appointed. If we go back to Tortola, we will rent it again.

This is a marvelous vacation rental. Its setting is idyllic, it felt remote and private. No matter the time of day the views and action on the water was spectacular. The ability to adjust the temperature of the hot tub for either day or evening enjoyment. The property's location offers a perfect blend of convenience, with nearby stores and restaurants, and ease to explore the island and its many places of interest, and beaches. It had air conditioned bedrooms with very comfortable beds, and nice pillows. Ample and comfortable seating for 4 in the outdoor living and dining area. A well equipped kitchen with full size appliances made meal preparation easy. The property was very clean and tidy, and its listing and pictures were also accurate.

We had a great relaxing stay at Karen and Chris's home! They were easy and welcoming hosts who made sure that we had everything we needed for our stay. The house was clean and comfortable. We stayed in most every night to enjoy the sunsets and the views and the quietness. Perfect house to relax in, and great location to see all of Tortola as well as easy access to ferries to other islands Highly recommend!

We 2 couples (family) stayed for a week here. We loved the 2 king bedrooms both with on suites on the opposite sides of the living space. The indoor/ outdoor spaces were amazing. We lived on the covered balcony area with beautiful views looking out towards Norman Island. The house was just beautiful and stocked with everything you need( just bring your food and beverages). The hosts Karen and Chris were wonderful giving us recommendations and answering any questions and making sure we’re made our way to the house upon arrival. We definitely highly recommend this beautiful Villa and will return in the future. This was our 1st time staying on Tortola and loved the ease of island hopping via the ferries. We even rented a boat from Island Time for a day which was a short drive as we were so close to Nanny Cay. The house is in a great location to explore Tortola in our rental car. Thank you for opening your beautiful home to us for the week Karen and Chris

WOW! Just WOW! Where do we start? The home is perfectly situated on the slope overlooking the ocean, the Caribbean islands in the distance and the occasional ferries motoring by on their way to Road Town. It was immaculately clean and appointed with every little need you might have. The back patio and the hot tub were enjoyed daily and was the perfect place to start with a cup of Coffee and end the day with a cool libation. And then there were the hosts… Absolutely THE MOST hospitable hosts we have ever experienced the pleasure of meeting. Super helpful, always available and quickly responsive to communications via WhatsApp. Karen is so wonderful and generous with local knowledge, suggestions of places to visit, ferry schedules, and help finding a water taxi when we missed our ferry. She even met us at the ferry when we arrived and showed us the “way home.”We cannot wait to go back and want to stay longer next time. There is so much to explore, and this was the perfect location to be close to town, but enjoy absolute tranquility.

Absolutely FANTASTIC!

First, Karen is a top notch host. Communication was excellent. Very responsive and timely.Met us at the Marina so we could follow her to the property. That was VERY helpful.The property is exactly as pictured, thoughtfully stocked, easy to use. Karen is on the premises without being underfoot.The beds are very comfortable! Unusual since my experience has been that beds are rock hard, lol.I cannot say enough about Karen, her place or the island. I highly recommend her to anyone visiting Tortola.If I could rate it at 10 stars I certainly would!

Spectacular view. Perfect hosts! Wonderful trip!We spent 3 wonderful weeks on Tortola. It did take some adjusting to the roads and the driving if you are renting a car which we did.

Wonderful Views!

Karen is a wonderful hostess! The property is lovely. Amazing views! Everything you need is provided. The road getting up to the property is a bit treacherous! The main area of the home is not air conditioned and can get a little warm when there is no breeze. Plenty of fans, which help keep it cool and the mosquitoes at bay!!

Best views on the island!

We’ve been going to Tortola for many years and this house was one of our favorites if not the best. The views from every single room are just extraordinary!!!! We really appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was with everything including condiments, Saran Wrap, spices etc. We also appreciated all the great furniture on the deck and the hot tub. It is a steep drive going to the house but no steeper than the rest of the island!! Thank you Karen- we loved your place!!

Perfect Oasis

There as so many great things to say about our stay at this property that I barely know where to start. Perhaps most importantly, our host, Karen, was absolutely amazing. She made our check-in process very easy, she helped get our fridg stocked for our arrival, she insured that we had everything we needed--from gear to restaurant, beach, and snorkeling recommendations--and she went out of her way to help when we had a medical emergency. Couple all that with a house that had a jaw-dropping view, comfy beds, and a well-appointed kitchn and you have a recipe for an amazing stay. I have travelled all over the world, often staying in VRBO/HomeAway properties, and this is hands down one of the absolute best. We can't wait to return.

The property is really well equipped to live very comfortably, the views are amazing and visible from all rooms. Karen and Chris are on site and are great hosts. We really enjoyed our chrustmas break and feel fully refreshed .

If you want views, stay here!

This was our second experience in Tortola. The first time we stayed on the West End near Long Bay Resort. The beaches are great there, but the views here were amazing. We were boating out of Nanny Cay, so this location was more convenient. What makes the property so special is the huge deck with the hot tub. When we we there, we spent all of our time on the deck. The view is incredible any time of day. We loved watching the stars at night from the hot tub, watching the sunrise from our bed in the morning and hearing the crashing waves below. It was magical. Karen was a great host and very available when we had questions. Picked up groceries before we arrived, met us in Nanny Cay to guide us to the driveway. I highly recommend renting a car from Jerry's, they left us a car at the airport and their prices were lower than the big name companies. We took day trips to Smugglers Cove and Long Bay Beach Resort (Long Bay restaurants are open to the public< highly recommend Johnny's Beach Bar for lunch) Sugar Mill restaurant is in the same area Lobster Thermador is divine. Took a ferry to Virgin Gorda and rented a car. After our visit to the Baths, we drove to the Sugarcane restaurant for lunch. Swam in the pool next to the dining area (The rolling Bellinis were excellent as was the food and the view) Overall, our stay was a great experience. We would visit again, for sure.

Outstanding Place To Stay In Tortola

We were very fortunate enough to select this house to stay in for a week during our trip to BVI and Tortola. This place sits high above the ocean with magnificent views, steady breezes flowing throughout and almost no outside noises which provides perfect tranquility. The owners, Chris and Karen, were gracious hosts and went above and beyond expectations to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. They even lent us a vehicle to drive to a restaurant for dinner when our rental had a flat tire. The house itself was spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable, and the kitchen had everything you would need to feel right at home. There is no doubt in our minds that we will be staying here again upon our return!

You should just go!

The four of us had an amazing time staying here. View is unbelievable and the location was close to the marina since we did a lot of boating. The indoor/outdoor living was the best part. If you get the opportunity, you should definitely go!

Wonderful vacation!

We had an amazing time vacationing in Tortola! Karen was so thoughtful and helpful throughout our stay. We spent most evenings at the house which was very comfortable, and had everything we needed for cooking meals and relaxing. Thanks so much Karen for all the great recommendations. Perfect Combination of Excitement & Chill

Karen and her husband, Chris, were the best hosts we have had in all our years of renting homes. The photos of the view from their villa are amazing but to wake up and drink coffee on the porch is unreal. My 19-year-old daughter said it looks like a green screen - it's that vibrant and cinematic. We flew into Tortola and didn't land until 8 PM. Because we were nervous about driving on the left side of the road in the dark, Karen graciously offered to meet us at the airport (about 40 minute drive) and let us follow her back to the villa. This was an incredible relief after a long day of travelling. I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and learned to drive a stick shift - so, crazy narrow roads are in my blood. But, Tortola roads are insane and definitely require nerves and a reliable vehicle. The driveway to the villa is a bit harrowing but you get used to it. (BTW: We rented a 2020 Jeep from Itgo in Road Town. Felicia is the manager and she is very helpful. They delivered the Jeep to the airport parking lot where it was ready and waiting for us to pick up. Super easy.) Beyond making sure we got to the villa safely, Karen went above and beyond to make sure all our questions were answered and needs were met. The villa is simply heaven. The open-air living area is blessed with a steady breeze and when we were ready to go to sleep at night, the bedrooms were, thankfully, air-conditioned. One week was not enough. We wish we were still there. What are you waiting for?

Love the bvi’s

My husband and I were fortunate enough to spend 8 wonderful relaxing days at Karen and Chris’s home. It really felt like home away from home. The view is breathtaking,beds so comfy,jacuzzi relaxing. I could go on and on. Highly recommend this villa. We can’t say enough about Karen’s hospitality. She truly is a gem.Thank you Karen,sincerely Bobby and Karenbeth ( future repeat guests)🙂

Hillside Paradise with Stunning Views

We enjoyed the central kitchen with open floorplan with 180-degree deck that includes the most beautiful views, hot tub and grill. Watching the most extraordinary sunrise each day was a special treat and a view to remember!!! The home was "our home" for a week! Karen and Chris were the best hosts and so accommodating and professional and communicative! Cannot wait to return!

SIMPLY PARADISE!

This was probably our favorite VRBO (or competition booking site) of all time! Karen is a spectacular host-she met us on the road to help us find our "home" away. She went over and beyond in all aspects. She helped my sister get antibiotics, she got calamine lotion for me, made sure we had everything we needed, every day. The space: the pictures are more than accurate. We loved spending time on the HUGE covered deck, morning and evening. The views from the deck were spectacular, and we loved watching lightning (and shooting stars) from the hot tub. The beds were very comfortable, and having two en suite bathrooms was great, plus the half bath. The kitchen was well appointed, and everything worked as it should. Lots of fans, and the A/C in the bedrooms was heavenly. I would not hesitate to stay with Karen again. Just a lovely 5 star stay!
