"We had a wonderful time at this home. It was cozy and beautifully decorated. We had access to an endless supply of firewood and a very well stocked kitchen. It was one of the few times (staying at a rental) that I found the bed pillows and sheets to be comfortable and I slept like a log:) The grounds feel secluded and one could hear a pin drop. My only recommendation for future guests would be to consider a 4 wheel drive if snow is in the forecast. Although the driveway is plowed regularly, it is quite long and steep. And given that there are no window dressings, I would bring eye shades in the summer months. Also bring binoculars for wildlife viewing! "

"This lake side house comes with an amazing family history. You feel welcomed from the moment you turn on the road. The lake view, sitting area, and dock are wonderful. And the large glass porch which looks out to the lake is the best! Wonderful walking areas right from the house. Very quiet there. Being dog friendly made my stay perfect! I met one of the original family who grew up in that house... AMAZING! The host and caretaker were always available if needed and I was greeted with a vase of flowers when I arrived. I'd always dreamed of staying with my dog in a house like this on a new england lake! "

"The location was amazing! We were 9 people with 4 kids ages 4-14 and two grandparents. The beach and its amenities (kayaks, canoes, fire pits, sand toys) made our stay well worth it and had something for all ages to enjoy. Kyle was available at a moments notice to provide anything we needed. "

"5 stars for location, communication and amenities! Even though the property inside is a bit outdated, it is a perfect lake house retreat with an amazing little beach with free access to kayaks, paddle boards and a canoe. Plenty of beach seating with fire pits and gorgeous views. A great place to escape with kids of all ages. It is less than a minute down the road from an amazing marketplace, delicious restaurant and it close to a science center and trails to walk on.Would stay again.Thank you for hosting us!"
