Pleasant stay and appreciate the charging facilities for EV. It does suffer a bit from some traffic noise as London Street is SH3 as it passes through the town, so if someone is sensitive to noise, bring earplugs.

The compact studio room was perfect for a single traveller and very quiet. Netflix was a bonus. The shower's water pressure was great and there were plenty of towels, flannels etc. Good selection of coffees and teas. Only a few minutes walk to 3 supermarkets and a bottle store, plus takeaways if needed. Didn't use the adjacent Thai restaurant but it was very busy which is a good sign. Will definitely consider Motel 151 when back in Whanganui.
