"Had a nice stay, room was nice and roomy. Staff were enthusiastic. Didn't use the WiFi as it wasn't strong for security. Had nice views of the sea. Ate in the restaurant in the evening. It was really good food. Had the cod loin which was really tasty and very fresh. Would recommend a visit here. "

Larpool Mill is a beautiful property that's been tastefully decorated and in a wonderful picturesque location. The hosts have thought of everything, guests will want for nothing regarding amenities."

"Second time we have stayed at this lovely, clean, spacious property. Ideal location so close to Sandsend beach and had a lovely meal at The Stables, just down the road. Cannot fault a thing apart from the Wi-fi signal - at times there was no signal and had to search for areas in the house where we could pick one up (sometimes at the top of the garden) Just to note this wasn’t a problem last year when we stayed. Not ideal for 3 teenage kids, but we survived and this did not stop us from having a great time away.Thank you for the eggs and milk.Would love to return one day. "

"Small B&B which is in a quiet area, but just of main routes so easy to find. There is sufficient off-street parking for guests which is a plus. Breakfast offers a good choice for all tastes and the breakfast room, at the side of the property affords sea views which adds to the pleasant feel of what is obviously a well run B&B. The room had a comfortable double bed, ensuit bathroom and provided with tea, coffee, bottled water and biscuits.I was met by the host on arrival and given a tour so I knew where everything was, rather than have to try and find it. In the moring excellent breakfast service and later attention to the room and replacement of drinks used. I understand there is about to be some up grade work, although I don't think it needs any, so will be even better. The walk into Whitby is about 20 minutes, either on the cliff road or from the top of Upgang Lane, where there is a covenience store and postbox and then side road into town. Whilst there is no evening meal, a pub restaurant just across the road serves excellent meals and is a quiet place to relax if not venturing out. Fully recommend the Haven Crest, only down side is there are steps at the front so probably not suitable for wheelcahir users, otherwise excellent. Will definately use on a next trip to Whitby."

Kids playing football against the wall on the car park.Many bins left overflowing so seagulls are a problem and hard to sleep at night if they are around.Couldn’t fault the host or the apartment. "
